Serenity and exoticism reign over this room, whose decor reproduces a Mauritian watercolor by the artist Bertrand Cure, all in shades of sea green, inviting you to rest in the shelter of his colonial-style house open to the Indian Ocean. With beautiful light in the morning, it overlooks the first hanging garden and its old maple tree and opens onto the second garden in the shade of a large, centuries-old yew tree. Meditative souls will find their haven there. Its shower room is decorated around the ocean blue of its rough stone and large earthenware where clouds can be seen. _ The MANOIR DE LAROQUE-DELPRAT is located in Autoire, formerly known as "Le Petit Versailles", with its fully preserved medieval and Renaissance architecture, its manors and mansions, classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France® in a classified Natural Area. Remarkable residence, ideally located, in the heart of the cirque of cliffs of Autoire, the manor dating from the 17th century is distinguished by its elements listed in the Historical Monuments and its many gardens. Indeed, alongside its five levels of living space, the manor has four levels of gardens and its own spring in the heart of the cliff, giving it the appearance of a small Babylon. There are trees, some of which are centuries old, providing a home for many species of birds. The reception room With an area of 80 m², the ceremonial lounge is located on the ground floor of the north wing and has a superb French ceiling as well as a fully carved walnut wall panel housing a fireplace, both dating from the 17th century. Guests are invited to have breakfast there and to enjoy a blaze when the weather invites us to relax by the fireplace. The Poets' Garden Dedicated to the manor's guests, this garden is conveniently located for breakfast, lounging, writing or reading in the summer. A very old yew, which has curiously taken the form of a large cedar of Lebanon, protects the garden in the shelter of its light shade. Behind the low wall of this courtyard you can see the rooftops of the Renaissance houses in the neighborhood. Birds and squirrels have found a home there. The Pool On the third level of the gardens, in a green setting, on a small promontory is the manor's swimming pool, facing the Château des Anglais built on the peak of the Autoire blind valley. With an area of 12 m by 6 m, with landings, the pool is in a central position to admire the circular cliffs that blaze at sunrise and sunset.
