Welcome to our cozy Craftsman home on a quiet, tree-lined street with a true neighborhood feel. This bright and comfortable private bedroom is just minutes from downtown San Jose’s SoFA district — perfect for events, work trips, or a relaxing stay. The room includes a comfortable bed and a workspace for both productivity and downtime. This is a shared home, with other guests staying in separate rooms. The bathroom is shared with up to 2 other guest rooms. The space Our home was built in the 1910s and still has beautiful original wood details and hardwood floors — part of its charm. As an older home, outlets are limited, but we’ve added power strips in each room for convenience. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the shared kitchen, dining area, and living room, along with the bathroom (if your room has a shared one). Please note: the backyard and any areas behind curtains are private and not accessible to guests. During your stay We’re not on-site, but we’re always available through the Airbnb app if you need anything. Feel free to reach out anytime. We’re happy to help! Other things to note 💡 Know Before You Book We want your stay to be smooth and enjoyable! Here are a few helpful details before you book: 🏡 Shared Home This is a shared home with other guests staying in separate rooms. You may see others in common areas like the kitchen, living room, and (for some rooms) the bathroom. 🐾 Pets We love animals, but due to a severe allergy, we’re unable to host cats. One dog is allowed; just send us a quick message about your pup before booking. Since this is a shared home, we like to give other guests a heads-up. 🕕 Check-in & Bag Drop Check-in starts at 6:00 PM on weekdays to allow time to prepare the room. Weekend check-in may be more flexible — feel free to ask! Arriving early? You’re welcome to drop off bags near the front of the house (behind the couch). 🚗 Parking Street parking is available with a virtual permit (no physical pass needed). If you’re driving, just send your license plate number and state, and we’ll take care of the rest. 🔐 Room Details Private room with Yale smart lock access using your unique entry code Smart TV with streaming apps and HDMI access available 🧺 Laundry Laundry isn’t available onsite, but there are several nearby laundromats we’re happy to recommend. 🌬️ A/C & Airflow We typically run AC during warmer parts of the day and turn it off in the evening once it cools down. If you prefer consistently cold temperatures overnight, this may not be the best fit. 💧 Water & Amenities Filtered drinking water is available from the small faucet next to the kitchen sink, along with complimentary tea and coffee.
