This 100 year old home has a glassed in sunroom, original woodwork, hardwood floors & plenty of space to spread out. Natural gas heat keeps this house toasty in the winter and nice cool AC keeps things cool in the summer. Cat and occasionally dog on premises. The space One of two available guest rooms in 100 year old comfortable craftsman walking distance to historic The Dalles. A few minute walk will get you to eateries, wineries, music and more. The two guestrooms share a bathroom on the first floor of the house. The bathroom is not used by the homeowner, but will be shared in the event that both guest rooms are booked! Guest access Make yourself comfortable on the glassed-in sun porch, the back patio, or the shared living spaces on the first floor. My bedroom and bathroom are on the second story, but I will be coming and going from the main entrance. Sorry, no hottub or extensive kitchen use available to guests at this time. During your stay Call, text, or message us on the app. We are often out and about in the evenings, and otherwise try to keep to ourselves when there are guests in the house. Other things to note I do have a very sweet, affectionate, and funny medium-sized 5 year old dog, and a one year old cat who comes and goes! In the event that I am home during your stay, I am happy to keep her contained in my upstairs living quarters unless you'd like some puppy love! The cat is not allowed in the guest rooms, though folks with pet allergies may want to consider staying elsewhere.
