The Château de Bouillancourt is an old building that will welcome you warmly. Here, old world charm reigns. As if everything had stopped. Far from the world's troubles, sheltered by the silence of a small village in Picardy, close to the Bay of Somme, the Château de Bouillancourt offers lovely rooms from another era. You will first pass through a mysterious and very long driveway lined with century-old linden trees to discover this heritage site. The Lardemelle family welcomes you to the large green living room or to the office with stained glass windows. Imperfect but memorable, this is the choice that was made for the renovation of the castle. Don't redo everything, and above all, don't offer a brand new, shiny castle. Preserve the poetry of these large family houses from the last century. Dream by the fire in winter or on the large terrace on summer evenings. Stroll in the park or in the vegetable garden. Our guests often tell us that they feel at home here. What a lovely compliment. Here we cultivate hospitality and elegance, but also simplicity. You are welcome at the Château de Bouillancourt. On the ground floor, check out: Le Salon Vert, its bar, its fireplace The Intimate Bookshelf The dining room of Paul de Boiville, and its iconic stained glass windows The large terrace and its lounge chairs All rooms in the castle are heated by wood-burning stoves. Towels and bed linen provided. Breakfast is included. Located in a listed heritage site, our rooms are unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility (stairs only). Contact us for any questions, and we will be happy to answer you! Guest access Access is via the path at 1 bis, rue du Bout du Haut in Bouillancourt-en-Séry. You will cross the large linden tree-lined driveway and can park at its end. You will then cross the park to reach the castle. For people with limited mobility or if you have small children, you can access through the main gate at 6, GR Grande Rue. Please feel free to call us if you have any problems! Other things to note Château de Bouillancourt is an unusual place to stay because it combines the grandeur, decor, and spaces of another era with a certain sobriety and simplicity in its layout. In winter, you'll fall asleep to the sound of the wood crackling in the stove, but don't forget to put some more logs in so you don't get cold. While each bedroom has its own bathroom, the toilet is shared on the landing. A real choice of authenticity, but also of modesty, in the recent renovation work. Your visit directly contributes to the continuation of the castle's renovation work!
