Old Road Cottage

This old stone built cottage is a few minutes walk to the vibrant shops, bars and restaurants of Farsley Village. The space Although a modest stone cottage, the rooms are spacious, light and airy, particularly the bedrooms which both benefit from windows to 2 aspects. The sitting room is cosy with large comfortable sofas and a wood burning stove. There’s a cubby hole for boots and coats etc The kitchen is large and well equipped with plenty of granite worktops. The cupboards and drawers contain plenty of Cutlery, Crockery, Utensils and Kitchenware. The 2nd bedroom has a large comfortable double bed. A staircase from that bedroom leads to an overspill converted attic room that has a comfortable single day bed that converts to a double (although space would then be very tight) and a dedicated workspace (desk with Laptop stand and an office chair adjacent to 13amp plug sockets). The workspace is available to all guests however the room is available by separate request and at an additional cost if it’s to be used as a bedroom There is a small private decked area to the front of the property which is accessed via a gate on the gable end of the house. The workspace is available to all guests however the room is available by separate request and at an additional cost if it’s to be used as a bedroom Other things to note This is essentially a 2 bedroom house and is offered as such. Our nightly rate is based on 2 guests staying. Additional guests up to 4 are charged at £20 per additional guest, per night. Along with the dedicated workspace, there’s an additional overspill space with a made-up day bed. The room is available to all guests as a workspace but there’s an additional cost of £20 per night if the room is to be used as an overspill bedroom. The room is a fully converted attic space accessed from the staircase located in the 2nd bedroom.
