I specialize in long term stays for traveling health professionals. I have a meal plan for those who do not wish to cook after a long day. Since everyone works AM or PM the house gets quiet at 10pm. No dining is allowed in rooms. Great for spontaneous weekenders but I do not book two people for more than 2-3 days and not more than two weeks in advance as I do hold longer windows of time open for traveling health professionals. THP's call this home away from home and a very lucky find!! The living room enjoys the ambiance of a woodstove and comfy leather chair or cushy sofa for reclining with ROKU TV. The restaurant style kitchen makes it easy to find and access anything you might need. Bathroom is always clean and inviting. It is a beautiful 3.5 acre property with many gardens located on Kelsey Creek. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. An easy 1 mile walk to downtown with shops, restaurants, brewery, wine tasting and plenty of live music if you enjoy the exercise. I live on the property, but not in the house. I do make use of the facilities and spend a good bit of time in the kitchen preparing meals, baking bread and processing fruits and veggies that grow here. I keep house/kitchen/bathroom clean and fire burning in fireplace. If you are on my meal plan, you enjoy your meal and you are done. I do dishes. If not, there is a shelf for you in the refridgerator and you are welcome to manage your own meals and clean up. The property is 3.5 acres on Kelsey Creek. Just one mile from downtown Kelseyville (a very friendly country town) hosts exceptional live music every third Thursday during the summer and offers boutique shopping, restaurants, wineries and a brew pub. Four state/county parks within 10-15 min drive. There is plenty of room to park your own car here on property and a very reliable taxi service if you wish to leave the car at home. I do my best to keep everyone here at Finch Gardens comfortable and always give great consideration to whom I accept so as to be sure that guests already here will not be negatively impacted. As a rule, my guests feel very much as though this is their home away from home and quite blessed to have found themselves here.
