Description
The HOUSE A comfortable and colorful family home in a place of greenery and peace. The small country road crisscrosses between fields and hills where you can find hares and deer on a walk. The forest is a stone's throw away, and the village... full of bars, restaurants, two excellent booksellers, a chocolate factory, a theater, many entertainment and an art and essay cinema is a 10-minute walk. The space ROOMS There are three bedrooms. A guest room with a large double bed. A master bedroom with a double bed. A children's room with a single adult size bed, good mattress. We can get you a crib or crib. There is also a mezzanine with a large single bed, futon mattress. In the living room is a futon sofa and at least you can sleep on it, it is very firm. We can provide mattresses to put on the floor in the bedrooms if needed. WATER Two small showers with toilets for two bedrooms. In the third bedroom a large bathroom/shower. At the end of the hallway, there is a toilet with sink. GAMES & GARDEN In the garden there is a climbing cube, slack lines, a tree house, a trampoline and a ping pong table that is a little wobbly, but we still have fun there. We practice "Punk Garden", a philosophy to have the most birds and insects... we let the flora develop as it pleases... it is intentional, but mowed paths appear in the spring and some spaces are mowed for the dining tables. There is a nice clean terrace with mountain views and mowed spaces and paths to access the games. HEATING in winter, COOLING in summer. Heated by solar panels and two wood-burning stoves. Wood is provided, as well as everything is needed to turn them on. You can easily reach 24° if needed in the main rooms. The stoves heat up very quickly, the wood burns well (provided). In winter it is necessary to make fires when the temperatures drop at night, but the house keeps the heat well. When you come home in the evening, you turn them back on. Otherwise, the solar heating maintains a minimum temperature. For the rooms there are efficient electric heaters if needed. The house is very well insulated and keeps warmth/freshness. In summer, by closing the shutters, the house remains very fresh. We have fans in case you feel the need. Usually it stays between 19° and 21°. In the middle of a heat wave, the house does not exceed 23° if you close the shutters well. PARKING There is space to park three cars and more street parking if needed. BIKE & PIANO We have bikes for three adults including one electric and for two children 7 and 10 years old that we can lend you. There is a piano, CD player, vinyl and bluetooth speaker. ANIMALS We have an adorable cat, Tigger, who will be delighted to receive your pets! He just needs to fill his bowl. He prefers to go out for his needs, so there is a litter box in case of emergency but he almost never uses. Your pets are welcome provided that they are kind to our cat and do not damage the house. They are not allowed in the bedrooms or the mezzanine. We have a 70m2 pen with two dog niches in the garden, half sun, half shade. The land is not fenced to pass wild animals from one mountain to another. Guest access We ask that you do not use the cellar, except to park the bikes. The house is ours so thank you for being respectful of our objects and my daughter's toys... for storing them well and taking care of them. We will do our best to leave you room in the cupboards, fridge and kitchen cupboards! Other things to note The AREA is full of Roman ruins, fossils, castles including the one or Madame de Sévigny is celebrated in July for these famous letters. It is possible to visit the cave of Chauvet, Vaison-la-Romaine and even Avignon during the day. Lots of climbing and hiking places are trying the landscape.
