MISSION: Whether you’re traveling solo, with your partner, or with kids in tow, we strive to make your vacation tranquil, easy and joyful! As frequent Airbnb guests ourselves, we understand the value of having a home away from home. We’ve stocked your house with everything: from the gear you need to relax at the beach to all of the tools you need to prepare meals, including Ziploc bags, sharp kitchen knives, and bakeware, etc. And for the kids we provide books, toys, fun play areas and baby gear to make traveling a little more enjoyable. OUTDOOR SPACE: You have the large part of the lower level of our property to yourself. The upper back half of our property is where our guesthouse is located, which is also available for booking, separately. Your own rad office pod is located on the covered patio, for adult use. For the kids, we have a playhouse and a flat grassy area. Dine al fresco at the table for four or enjoy a glass of wine on the sofa under the covered patio, while the little ones are busy preparing wooden food in the playhouse. LAUNDRY: Feel free to pack light and make use of a full-size LG washer & dryer with laundry detergent provided. KITCHEN: Dine in, if you’d like! We’ve got everything: - filtered reverse osmosis drinking water - wall oven & induction cooktop - American-style drip coffee - Nespresso Vertuo Espresso machine with separate milk frother - electric kettle - toaster, Ninja blender, Crockpot, rice cooker DINING AREA: The open concept kitchen has dining options at either end. The primary rectangular dining table is set up for 6 people, but can be extended to accommodate 8. There is also a round dining/games table at the opposite end (with lots of games provided), and a two-person pub table and chairs. LIVING ROOM: A 120" motorized projector screen with Bose soundbar is at your avail for family movie nights. With the Apple TV, you can log in to your Netflix, Prime, iMovies, Hulu, Disney+ or YouTube accounts. You can also connect to the Bose soundbar to your Spotify account for music via Bluetooth. There is a baby grand piano (please treat it kindly) and an aerial hoop for doing cool tricks on, for use at your own risk. If you'd prefer that this be removed for your stay, just message me before check-in. The Dutch bean bags can be placed underneath for the little ones' safety, and they're also super comfortable for watching movies, when stood up vertically. BEDROOM 1: The queen-size bed has a 14"-thick mattress and zippered mattress cover plus a mattress pad, and fresh, white comfy sheets. You'll have a fluffy comforter and pillows with zippered, protective pillow covers and pillow cases. Bedroom 1 is large enough to accommodate our Pack-n-Play for infants or a cot for toddlers to sleep in. BATHROOM 1: This ensuite bathroom is attached to Bedroom 1 and has a large soaking tub and separate shower. Bathe the kids - - we’ve got bath toys! Or even better, treat yourself with some aromatherapy bath salts after your day at the beach or exploring the zoo. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryer to lighten your suitcases. BEDROOM 2: A double-over-double bunkbed with an additional twin trundle bed is for the kids. From toddlers to tweens and teens, the space is fresh and fun with curtains to enclose the bottom bunk for a fort-like feel. There is a 55" smart TV and an Xbox One S, upon request, for your kids to log into their account. The TV has Disney+ and access to log in to your Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc. We've got toys and books, as well. BEDROOM 3: A queen bed with wall-mounted heaboard and nightstands and integrated drawers faces a 55" smart TV with views to the front courtyard. BATHROOM 2: This chic, serene bathroom has a shower and shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hair dryer, and is accessed from the main hallway. BEDROOM 4: Rifle Paper Co.’s Alice in Wonderland artwork is the inspiration for this kids’ bedroom. This room provides a twin bed and a cute matching toddler-size bed. Your little ones will enjoy reading books or having a “tea” in the two kid-sized arm chairs and putting on their very own puppet show in this space. BEACH GEAR: Explore our world-class San Diego beaches like a local with a couple beach chairs that have integrated coolers, a couple boogie boards, some beach towels, some sand toys, and a beach umbrella. If you stay with us, you won’t have to rent them when you arrive at the beach. OFFICE POD: Work or vlog from home! This space has been insulated and has soundproofing foam on the walls, a chic background for meetings, and an air conditioning unit. Available by request and for adult use only. Guest access Both the main house and the guesthouse are separate from each other and on two different levels of our property. The driveway and front courtyard (to walk to your respective front doors) are the only shared spaces. The pathway that goes up the right side of the house is for guesthouse guests’ use so they can access their stairs and guesthouse. See aerial view for property layout. Garage is not available for use. Other things to note We love our sleepy, quiet neighborhood and so do our neighbors.
