Lovely 3BR Mountain House 5 min to downtown HVL

Serenity and sweet mountain air await you at your lovely 3 bedroom mountain getaway. You and yours can relax and unwind at this quiet and peaceful place to stay. You'll have the best of both worlds, located in a very lush, natural setting, surrounded by greenery and trees, but also just a short 5 minute drive to downtown Hendersonville where you'll have all the nearby conveniences. The space This mountain getaway is a warm and welcoming space. Lots of windows throughout the house and bedrooms to look out over all the flora and fauna in your one acre yard. The kitchen has all the basics for baking and cooking. You'll have a keurig coffee maker and a regular one pot (4 cups) brewer. You can enjoy your coffee and conversation in the breakfast nook surrounded by windows. For larger groups, our formal dining area seats up to eight comfortably. The master bedroom is spacious and has an en-suite bathroom and large walk-in closet. The two guest bedrooms are well-sized, lots of closet space and plenty of room for luggage and bags, so you won't feel crammed. All of the mattresses are new and very comfortable, and all of your sheets and bedding are soft and cozy. There are Roku TVs in the master bedroom and living room. As well as a variety of novels, for any avid readers. You'll have extra toys (train set, blocks, lincoln logs, etc) and games (Scrabble, Yahtzee, Uno, cards, etc) for kiddos, as well as a ping pong table in the garage and a tire swing in the front yard. Also, for the very littles, there's a pac'n'play and bed rail available. Guest access You'll have access to the entire house and garage. Other things to note Enjoy a cup of coffee on our large front deck and listen to the multitude of birdsong as you watch the sunrise. Or take a walk around your beautiful mountain neighborhood and meander down your quiet street (which wraps around to the upper road where you'll have some mountain views). Lots of lovely flora and fauna; it's not unusual to come across deer, rabbits and white squirrels! The local coffee shop, Appalachian Coffee Company, is just 1.5 away. There's a Fresh Market, Publix, Harris Teeter, Aldi and Safeway all within 5 to 10 min. Same with Pharmacies, Hardware Stores, etc. Downtown Hendersonville is absolutely charming. Lots of local shops and breweries (Dry Falls is a nearby favorite), many of which have live music. Hendersonville's great restaurants like Shine (rooftop bar in the summer) and Postero rival those of any big city. Or take a tour of the grand Sierra Nevada Brewery in Fletcher (15-20 min away), where they also have a great restaurant and outdoor music. If you love the outdoors, the choices are endless! Just up the mountain is Jump Off Rock (10 min) with great views of the surrounding mountains (see photo) and fairly easy shorter hikes. Another great option is the Carl Sandburg Park (13 min). Lots of history about American novelist Carl Sandburg, trails, the longest one with a view at the top, and lots of farm goats! There's plenty more hiking in the area at Dupont Forest, Pisgah Forest, Saluda and the Blue Ridge Mountains (all within 20-35 min)! For amazing waterfall hikes check out Triple Falls in Dupont Forest or Little Bradley Falls in Saluda, both within 20-25 minutes. Lots of places for mountain biking and leisure biking nearby like Kanuga Mountain Bike Park, Jackson Park and dozens of biking trails in Dupont Forest. For leisure, there's Flat Rock Park or ride the miles of flat, paved biking on Hendersonville's Greenway. The Riveter in Fletcher is also a great place for mountain biking and indoor climbing. Tube or Kayak down a river! There's Zen Tubing on the French Broad River or Green River Adventures in Saluda. For adrenaline junkies, there's a waterfall rappelling and zipline canopy tours also guided by Green River. Nearby playgrounds include Laurel Park, Flat Rock Park, East Flat Rock Park and Jackson Park. And the seasonal, public YMCA pool at Patton Park is great as well!
