Only a stone's throw away from the Currach Irish Pub, Stonewall Store, Pa Café and idyllic white sand Gooseberry Flat beach (a family favourite due to its sheltered aspect and calmer waters). This is the ideal spot for guests who want the convenience of having all the essentials nearby on their Great Barrier getaway. The space You will have access to the entire property during your stay. The house has 3 generously sized bedrooms (2 rooms with Queen beds and 1 room with 2 single beds) and 2 bathrooms (one being the master ensuite). It has a large open-plan living room on the first story with a fully equipped kitchen and gas stove perfect for entertaining larger groups or families. Our holiday home also features a large sundrenched deck with outdoor seating and a BBQ ready for you to bask in the year-round sunshine in the Hauraki Gulf. Additionally, we have high-speed wifi and a Smart TV with Chromecast available if you need a break from the sun and beach. Other things to note Gooseberry is a favourite for families. This white sand beach is located right in the heart of Tryphena Harbour at the bottom of Blackwell drive and just around the corner from Stonewall village. Pa Beach is tucked away just below Stonewall village, fringed with draping Pohutakawa trees offering shade and a great place to explore for kids, with many small dinghies belonging to locals lining the high tide mark. Between Gooseberry Flat and Pa beach is a beautiful headland, with very unique and beautiful purple stone, covered with more towering Pohutakawa trees. At low tide, you can walk around the headland between the two beaches and take a look at the purple caves. Where sand bars have formed on the beach you’ll find warm pools of water that sit in the sun. Whilst the tide goes out these spots are the perfect place to take small kids to splash around.
