Charming bungalow on a historic staircase street.
Charming bungalow on a historic staircase street.
Description
Enjoy a quintessential Echo Park bungalow situated on one of Los Angeles's historic staircase streets. This light-filled renovated 1908 charmer sits high up on a hill in an area of town that was once called Edendale—home to the first movie studios in Los Angeles. You'll love sipping coffee on the front porch and taking in the view of the San Gabriel mountains. The space My renovated bungalow is exceptionally clean and tidy. It's furnished in a mid-century style that feels warm and cozy. The main bedroom has a walk-in closet and a comfortable bed with Parachute linens. The second bedroom is a home office, complete with a standing desk and a wireless printer. If you like to cook, you'll love the Kitchen-aid oven and the large dining room table (perfect for small gatherings). In the living room, a large OLED TV with Roku is perfect for watching movies. The house is a five-minute drive to Sunset Blvd, the Silverlake Reservoir, Whole Foods, and Silverlake Wine. Easy access to the 2, 5 and 101. Very close to Elysian Park (great hiking) and Dodger Stadium. Guest access You'll have access to the entire house, front porch, back yard, and laundry room. Other things to note Please note that the house is on a staircase street. You'll have to walk up about 70 steps to get to the house (it's like being in a four-story walk-up). Ample parking on Allesandro, at the bottom of the stairs. (The stairs are featured in the book Secret Stairs: A Walking Guide To The Historic Staircases of Los Angeles). I have a dog and while I have the place professionally cleaned prior to guest stays, people with dog allergies may have a reaction. (Don't worry, the dog will not be staying with you) : )
