Other things to note • Please be informed that we will be requesting the submission of personal data from guests (name, date of birth, ID card/passport number, nationality, and country of residence). This submission is mandatory for communication with AIMA (formerly SEF – Foreigners and Borders Service), under Article 45 of the Schengen Agreement and the recent Local Accommodation law in Portugal. • Some essentials will be provided upon arrival (e.g., toilet paper, laundry/dish detergent capsules (or similar), napkins, etc.); however, it is the guests' responsibility to restock these items as needed. • In order to comply with local regulations, we are applying the newly implemented Tourist Tax (Municipality of Ponta do Sol - Edict No. 443/2024). As of September 2024, Local Accommodations in the Ponta do Sol municipality will apply a fee of €2 per person, per night, for up to 7 nights (children up to the age of 13 are exempt). For reservations booked before September 1, 2024, and already confirmed, the payment of this tax must be settled during the stay and can be made in cash or by bank transfer.
