Nestled at the base of Tallman Mountain lies the quaint village of Piermont where a population of 2,500 sleep, live & thrive enjoying life on the simpler side. Sip coffee on the porch overlooking the Sparkill creek. Stroll down Main Street to visit an array shops/restaurants. Fishing on the pier, dancing fireflies at night and wildlife throughout. A quick hike along the firetrail to the state park will overlook the backyard mountain, a view of the Hudson & catching a glimpse of NYC or a picnic. The space Inside this renovated duplex home you will find the following rooms: --Down stairs-- **Full Kitchen** - Coffee bar stocked with coffee, tea, cocoa, honey & sugar. - Cupboards with spices, dishes, cups, silverware, cooking utensils etc… Stainless steel appliances - Dishwasher (with pods under the sink). - Refrigerator with basic condiments (Inc. Freezer with Ice maker). - GAS stove. - Microwave oven. - Kitchen butcherblock table for 2, with pots and pan storage. -Multifunction storage unit with areas for shoes & shopping bags. **Muti-function dining room** - Table for 6 - Board game and puzzle Station - something for every type of gamer. - Door to half bath. - Door to basement (not for guests to access) - Curtains that open to our laundry room with free washer/dryer for guest use (including detergent & dryer sheets on the shelf). **Living room** - Large sectional to seat 6 with ottoman as well. - 50" Smart TV (can be paired with your phone for streaming or log in via TV) - Downstairs Nest Thermostat (guest temperature range is set to 64-78 degrees F) - Large bean bag chair for the kids. - Door to front Porch - Stairs to second floor. **Front Porch** - Seating for 6 with cushions - Safety railing ** It is recommended to not use the steps to go to the street during the winter due to ice.** **The Porch is shared with our tenant on the opposite side of the duplex. There is a divider wall (check photos)** --Second Floor-- **Bedroom 1** - One Queen bed with a 10" memory foam mattress - Alarm clock - Two bedside lamps with USB and plug charging ports. - Sit stand desk - Desk chair - 24" TV/Monitor on desk to be used for remote work. - Closet with small dresser and shelving with hangers, and space for luggage (or place luggage under bed). **Bedroom 2** - Two queen beds with 10" memory foam mattresses - Three bedside lamps with USB and plug charging ports. - Alarm clock - Office desk with keyboard storage & chair. - 43" Smart TV (can be paired with your phone for streaming or log in via TV) - Lighted makeup mirror - Closet with hangers and space for luggage (or place luggage under bed) **Full Bathroom** - Tub/Shower combo - Shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser - Shelves for any overflow items you need to store - Basket with extra towels -------------------- During the winter, guests can enjoy nearby skiing locations and, weather permitting, ice-skating on the frozen village creek. Please check local postings for updates on skating events organized by volunteers. To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, unregistered overnight guests are not permitted. Linens will only be provided for the number of (maximum 6) guests approved. We offer keyless entry and contactless check-in for your convenience. Please note that front street parking is not provided, but parking for up to three cars is available behind the house. Guest access Please note: Steps are required to enter and exit the home, and there are no ramps on site. The first and second floor, along with the front porch, rear patio and backyard, will be accessible to guests. However, the basement, detached garage, and sheds are prohibited from guest use. For your safety, cameras are mounted in the back and front (ring doorbell) of the property. Other things to note As part of your fees we will be collecting New York State sales tax of 8% If you damage the home, you may be charged. The person making the reservation must be staying for the full length of the trip, including arrival, failure will result in a trip cancellation. *NO Smoking, NO Vaping, NO e-cigarettes inside home. *NO Drugs. *NO Fireworks. *NO Events. *NO Pets. *NO video or photo sessions without hosts consent. *NO unregistered overnight guests are allowed.
