Guest access You'll have full, exclusive use of the entire luxury cabin and our fully fenced backyard—your private mountain retreat! This includes the 6-person hot tub (open year-round with stunning views), the brand-new 2-person cedar barrel sauna, the cozy fire pit area with Adirondack chairs, the covered deck with hanging egg chairs, the fully equipped kitchen, game room (Xbox, 60-game arcade, board games), and pet-friendly features like the doggie door, kennel/crate, and bowls. We're tucked inside the peaceful, gated Shagbark Resort community, complete with 24/7 staffed security at the entrance for extra privacy and peace of mind. When you arrive, check in at the guard gate (they'll have your name on file), then follow the paved roads straight to the cabin—free parking is right onsite, including a dedicated disabled spot and a Level-2 EV charger (Tesla-compatible). Self check-in is available after 4:00 PM, and we'll send you clear, step-by-step instructions (including any codes or key details) via Airbnb message a few days before arrival. Check-out is by 10:00 AM—Our team will handle the rest to get everything ready for the next guests. You're also welcome to enjoy the resort's shared amenities: the seasonal heated outdoor pool (typically mid-May through September), tennis and pickleball courts, basketball court, disc golf course, picnic pavilion, dog park, and more. Other things to note We have one exterior security camera on the property for your safety and ours (they monitor the driveway only—no indoor cameras). Our cabin is truly pet-friendly with a fully fenced yard, doggie door, and pet amenities—but please pick up after your furry friends and keep them leashed in shared resort areas (dog park is a big hit!). High-speed Wi-Fi (527 Mbps) and streaming services are ready for you, plus plenty of board games and the arcade/game room for rainy days or downtime. We're in a beautiful mountain setting with winding (but paved) roads—drive carefully, especially at night or in weather.
