Located on Lake Temiskaming, Maiden Bay Camp offers a variety of lakefront cabin accommodations. Relax and cast a fishing line in Ontario's best kept fishing secret and bring home some Trophy Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass or Trout. Enjoy amazing hiking trails or ATV trails that Temiskaming has to offer. Sit by the fire and take in the true North outdoors nature experience. You wont be disappointed. The space The cabin is on a property with six other cabins all with lakefront views. This cabin is our XL cabin great for a large family size of 4-7 people max. It included 4 bedroom; bedroom 1: 2 single beds bedroom 2: 1 double bed bedroom 3: 2 single beds bedroom 4: 1 double bed all new mattresses, spacious open concept living room, kitchen, indoor wood burning stove, and BBQ on your deck. All cabins come with a fully stocked kitchens; pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, dish soap and clean dish sponges. Boat launch, boat docking, fishing boat and canoe rentals, firepits available. OFF GRID - Cabins fridge, lighting and USB charging station for phones is powered by solar panels. Stove is propane. For electric if you need to plug something into an outlet you just have to plug in a generator to the side of the cabin; you can bring your own or we rent them for $20/day. The camp offers 3 piece private shared stationary washrooms located behind the cabin with hot showers, flushing toilets and sinks. NOTE: linens are not provided YOU MUST bring your own sheets, blankets and pillows and drinking water as we do not advise drinking the tap water. Guest access Guests can use the full property, including multiple docks, boat launches and fire pits. The camp has a property manager, Kenny, on site available 9:30am to 5pm for any questions or help needed with anything pertaining to your cabin. Other things to note Please note that the camp is off the grid, access to the camp is via Maiden Bay Road which is a 3km cleared gavel path through the forest, not paved. This is a logging road ruff in spots and must drive slow down the road. Scooters, motorcycles and sports cars are not equipped for the path due to ruff surfaces. please advise if you have any questions.
