The space Lake Valley View is a beautiful fully detached property sat directly above a beautiful valley and it enjoys stunning views of the valley, woods and Chew Valley Lake directly from the property, the patio and the courtyard. Perfect all year round for summer days and evenings and cosy for winter breaks with underfloor heating throughout A beautiful, light and modern detached single storey property with a double bedroom with king-size bed and large en-suite wet-room (including rainforest shower), further good sized bedroom with 2 single beds and wardrobe. Family bathroom with freestanding bath. Light and modern open plan kitchen and living area with stunning views across a beautiful valley and lake and across rolling hills. Oak doors throughout. Luxury super comfortable mattresses, luxury Egyptian cotton linen and luxury bath towels throughout. A sunny courtyard area right by the house with outdoor dining table, chairs and BBQ. There is also with a stunningly located patio that looks right across the valley, hills and lake located in a private spot next to the property. The patio has seating and table and a fantastic fire pit for sitting and watching the sun go down behind the lake. Private parking space for 2 or 3 cars with further parking if required. Underfloor heating throughout. The property is located in a fantastic location in the heart of the Somerset countryside, nestled at the foot of the Mendip hills with great walks directly from the property. Also within easy access of Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar gorge, Bath and Bristol and the coast at Weston-Super-Mare, Brean and Clevedon, with it's beautiful Victorian marine lake. The property overlooks Chew Valley lake, which is a great lake for bird watching and fishing. The property is on the former estate of the Manor house and farm and we have resident owls that you can hear during the day and at night, badgers, foxes, woodpeckers and deer. There are also buzzards and red kites that can often be seen circling in the skies above. The valley to the East is virtually black at night, with only the occasional light from the few properties in the valley. The location is just amazing and has a very secluded and private feel, the perfect base for a fantastic holiday. Please see our guidebook on Airbnb to show what the area has to offer. The house has a state of the art water filter which provides alkaline, antioxidant, hydrogen-rich, structured water and removes high levels of contaminant, including fluoride. It's an energy plus water filer supplied by water for health in Scotland. Book for a week or more to get a discount on night rates. Guest access The entire property is let with a courtyard, patio area and private parking. Other things to note From sometime in October to March/April, the dining table, patio furniture and BBQ will be stored away for protection and not available. However, the four dining chairs will be available to use during any weather and also the fire pit. We will only pack the dining table, patio furniture and BBQ away when the weather turns in the autumn so usually sometime in October and bring them out in March or April whenever the weather improves. The fridge in the property does not have a freezer. However if you do require a freezer (e.g. for fish or bait if fishing on Chew Valley or Blagdon Lake) then there is a large chest freezer in an outbuilding (located by the property) that we can arrange for you to use so please do just ask.
