The 'Garden Room' is a light and airy self contained three room annex, located in the picturesque village of High Salvington, well known for its Windmill in the Souths Downs National Park. It it is completely self-contained, with a separate entrance from the adjacent family house. With easy access to the Souths Downs, it’s location is ideal for both walking & cycling and also within a 25 minute drive to Goodwood, Chichester, Cowdray and Brighton & Hove. The space The Garden Room has a living room with a sofa bed overlooking the sunny garden. Enjoy watching the squirrels playing up the tree with a cup of coffee in hand! The cosy bedroom has an ensuite shower wet room with heated towel rail, toilet and sink, bifold doors open up into the sunny garden and patio area. The bed has a luxury mattress topper for added comfort with White linen and towels provided. There are blackout binds in the bedroom and two room heaters. Unlimited WIFi TV in sitting area Fully equipped new kitchen, with fridge, dishwasher, oven, kettle and toaster. The accommodation is mainly suited for 2 adults but we can accommodate up to 2 children under 13 or 1 extra adult. There is an extra linen charge of £20 to make up the sofa bed. Please request this when booking. We do welcome small, clean well behaved dogs to the Garden Room. We do request short hair dogs only I am afraid due to the shedding. Guest access You will be able to access the Garden Room via the side entrance of our family home. We have a large driveway with off road parking. We have secure storage for bikes if required. Other things to note Arundel Castle, Parham House, Wiston & Nyetimber Vineyards, Findon Village, Worthing, Ferring and Goring beaches are all reachable within 10-20 minutes. Gatwick Airport 50 minutes If you are planning on staying more local, then the newly refurbished village coffee shop 'The Refreshment Rooms' and wine bar is within a 5-7 minute walk, on Thursday nights they have a Wood Fired Pizza Van & Friday nights a Taco Van which are very popular! There are some great pubs and restaurants nearby that we highly recommend Refreshment Rooms - High Salvington The Gun - Findon Village Black Horse - Findon Village Crabshack - Worthing sea front Bluebird Cafe (great for fish & chips) - Ferring Sea Lane Cafe - Goring (great for fish & chips) The Black Horse - Amberley The Pig - Madehurst Chalk Restaurant - Wiston Vineyards The quaint market town of Arundel is well worth a visit with it’s historic Castle, Antique shops, restaurants, cafes and art galleries (10 minute drive). If you fancy paddle boarding Worthing East Beach is the place to go. Out of Bounds is great to keep the children entertained with a climbing wall, soft play, bowling, foot golf and mini golf (10-15 minutes away) Rustington Golf Club - 15 minute drive Indoor swimming pool with slides at Splashpoint Worthing. Arundel Lido is perfect for children in the summer months. There is the Dome Cinema a Grade II listed cinema in Worthing which has three screens that show child friendly movies on Saturday mornings for younger children. Plenty of beautiful countryside walks that we can recommend as we are located on the foot of the downs. Findon Place and Cissbury Barns are within a five minute drive for those attending weddings.
