Bunkhouse on the Water

The Bunkhouse sits adjacent to a large body of water. Just 10 miles to Pittsburg and 30 miles to Joplin, MO. Guests can enjoy time outside on the covered porch next to the water, sit around the fire pit on those cool evenings, go for a hike, play a game of pickleball, or enjoy some catch and release fishing from the bank. Experience country living and sights and sounds of nature. Free range chickens also roam the property. 3 GUESTS MAX NO OUTSIDE GUESTS The space The bunkhouse has a twin over full bunk bed and a couch. The top bunk is close to the ceiling so not ideal for older or less agile adults. The kitchenette has a sink, mini fridge, microwave, and a toaster. Kitchenware, utensils, keurig coffee maker, bedding, and towels are provided. Note that there is no dishwasher, washer, or dryer. Guest access WIFI FISHING- Catch and release and bank fishing only please. HIKING - A trail map is located in the guestbook inside The Bunkhouse. Please stick to this trail only. FIRE PIT - Enjoy a little campfire. PICKLEBALL - The pickleball court is located on our family's property just a short walk away. DEER PROCESSING ROOM- Great amenity for our hunter friends. Includes two deer hoists, full fridge with freezer, large sink and plenty of counter space. Other things to note The bunkhouse sits on the same property as our home (approximately 150 feet away). But since the porch sits on the opposite side, you will have more than enough privacy. HOUSE RULES We kindly ask that you read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay. 1. No parties or events 2. No smoking, vaping, or E-cigarettes in the Cabin. 3. No pets allowed. 4. No outside guests allowed. 5. No illegal substances allowed on the premises. 6. Do not flush feminine products down the toilet. 7. No outside watercraft 8. No swimming There are two exterior security cameras monitoring the bunkhouse area.
