A-frame Cabin Hotel with communal River Lodge
Description
Wrong Way River Lodge & Cabins is an unique outdoor hotel in Asheville, NC at the intersection of urban and the outdoors. The property features 16 A-frame cabins with all the creature comforts, including private bathroom, HVAC, and WiFi. A communal River Lodge anchors the property as a place to eat, drink, gather, and shop. You'll have easy access to all of Asheville being less than 3 miles to downtown, and outdoor activities right out your front door with the river greenway across the street . The space The Wrong Way property is in eclectic West Asheville, sitting adjacent to a road that runs parallel to the French Broad River Greenway. Each A-frame cabin is a stand-alone structure with its own dedicated parking. A communal River Lodge has a café, gift shop, indoor/outdoor seating, event space, and 8-person conference room. The upper meadow is a communal green space for gathering around a campfire with friends and family. Guest access You will have your own, private cabin with private bathroom, queen bed, queen-size futon, mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle with coffee/tea, HVAC, private balcony/deck, and high-speed WiFi. The communal River Lodge is a shared space for guests and the public to eat, drink, gather, and shop. Other things to note It is important to note that Wrong Way is NOT a traditional campground. We are in an urban area of Asheville with all the sights and sounds that come with that environment, including traffic noise from the adjacent road. This is why we focus on cabins as the primary accommodation. The tradeoff for this urban environment is convenience to many popular Asheville attractions. We are located right across the street from the French Broad River Greenway and several outdoor recreation parks... We are also 1 mile from the River Arts District, 1 mile from West Asheville's Haywood Rd, 2 miles from the Biltmore Estate, and less than 3 miles from downtown Asheville.
