We are just 3 blocks from Chadron State College and 5 blocks from downtown Chadron (population 5,178, not including about 2,900 college students during the school year). Most streets have sidewalks, so walking is a popular method for getting around town. Most things are within walking distance in town, about a mile one way or another from our location. Bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are also popular ways to get around town.
