At our clean and comfortable Farm2 suite, you will find yourself close to the colleges and downtown activities, while staying in a country setting on five acres of land, beautiful views, dark, star-lit nights, all on a quiet, safe country road. You will enjoy a completely private unit with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. You will find yourself surrounded by wooded land, wildlife including turkey, deer, birds, foxes, raccoons, and sometimes turtles and otters. And <2 miles to Clarkson! The space We are also 5 min away from SUNY Potsdam, 15 min from St. Lawrence University, and 20 min away from SUNY Canton. We adhere to a no-pet policy. We also do not house service animals (see below for details) The Farm2 was newly renovated in 2021. It was re-designed and renovated specifically for the Airbnb traveler(s). Per Airbnb guidelines, concerning service animals, this room is frequently used by persons who have allergies. The super hosts, Elisa and John have 2 other similar units at this location and and 3 units only 1 mile away on the same road. They have been Airbnb hosts since August 2018 and Superhosts since 2019. The Farm1 has 1 king bed in its own bedroom, 1 queen bed in a second bedroom, a futon in the living room that can sleep one or two people. The Farm1 and the Farm2 share an entrance at the front of the house. The Farm1 is on the 1st floor, and the Farm2 is on the 2nd floor. The only shared space is the foyer. Each unit is completely private and well soundproofed in the latest renovation. The kitchenette has an electric cooktop, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and refrigerator. There is one 65" TV in the king bedroom, one 65" TV in the living room, and one 50" TV in the queen bedroom. There is one full bathroom in the unit. There is no cable subscription. LG Free TV is provided and has most major news sources, sports, and movies. Apple TV and other services are supported from guest's devices. High bandwidth wi-fi is available for streaming. If you cannot find the dates that you want, we also have two other listings in the same building. "The Farm2", "The Loft1", "The Loft2", and "The Loft3". All are very similar in size. Early check in time policy: 1) normal check in time is 3pm 2) early check-in must be approved in a message 3) cannot be determined until after previous guests leave 4) maximum early check in time is 2pm Late checkout time policy: 1) normal checkout time is 11am 2) late checkout must be approved in a message 3) must be requested at least 1 day prior to checkout 4) same-day late checkout request will not be considered 5) maximum late checkout is 12pm Guest access You will park in the large parking area between the house and the barn. You can pull up near the house to unload, but please do not leave your car on the sidewalk as it will be by others. There is 5 acres of land that is kept mowed and can be used for recreation or walking. Also, the Bagdad Road is very quiet and safe and many residents walk their dogs or jog on it all day long. At the end of the Bagdad Rd. is Clarkson University's soccer fields and the Clarkson hill campus, which is only a 1.5 mile walk. Other things to note Please do not go into the barn. This space is for the owner's storage. Also, the neighbors have put up posted signs in the woods which they want us to honor. You may walk around on the 5 acres that comes with this property. The posted signs are fairly close together and easy to see.
