The space This listing is for the "Main Home" of my property that has 3 bedrooms with 4 beds (4th bed is a sleeper sofa). The home also has a guest apartment. The guest apartment has its own entrance, bedroom with queen bed, living room with queen sleeper sofa, bathroom, laundry, kitchenette, desk/workspace, and outdoor deck with lounge furniture. Please note: This property is not suitable for people with mobility issues. All guests must be able to climb stairs. The home is built into the hillside overlooking the Tamalpais Valley which makes for stunning views. Nestled in the shadow of Mt. Tamalpais, the property overlooks the green pines of Tamalpais Valley. A perfect retreat to enjoy Northern California's charm. Take in the view from the deck shaded by a large Redwood. Catch hints of ocean air from Sausalito’s Richardson Bay a mile East & Muir Beach and the Pacific Ocean 4 miles West. Day-trippers will find themselves with too many options. Be in San Francisco or Muir Woods in 15 minutes, or the tasting rooms of Sonoma’s Gloria Ferrer in 35 minutes. The property has a wide selection of Bay Area/Northern California travel, hiking, history, and reference books as well as multiple board games. There's a backpack with picnic supplies, a blanket, and beach towels for hiking and/or beach trips. There are several fabulous organic high-end grocery stores and cafes nearby (Good Earth, Whole Foods) and drugstores (Walgreen's and CVS) minutes away. The house is at the top of the hill and one of the last houses at the end of a quiet street with no through traffic. It's a serene and peaceful spot with nature views overlooking the Valley. There is ample street parking along the perimeter of the residence. Guest access The home is set up with a Smart lock with a code for easy check in. It is a Lockly Smartlock which is one of the most secure locks on the market. I strongly recommend that guests protect their trip with travel insurance available online. I do not give refunds due to Covid, weather or travel issues including flight delays or cancellations. Other things to note The host *may* be onsite occupying the guest suite of the property during the guest's stay. There are no shared spaces and it's a separate apartment within the same home that spans the entire lower level of the property. It has a separate entrance. This listing is to rent the main home of the residence consisting of the main level and upper floor master suite. Both the main level of the home and the master suite have their own outdoor decks with gas fire pits for guests exclusive use and enjoyment. The host provides guests with complete privacy but is available to assist or help with any needs that arise during the stay. Guests may see the host from time to time watering the garden, or passing by the entrance when leaving the property.
