Two queen beds, a couch, a crib. Full kitchen. New property. Desk/workspace. Large dining table. Newly added washer and dryer. This former garage is comfortable and spacious. Please read every page. Guests do not read the pages and all the questions I get are listed in the website, or listed inside on the walls or in the house manual. We are approx. 5-7 minutes to the mall and Western Blvd and approx. 12-15 mins from Camp LeJeune Main Gate. We are 24 miles to Emerald Isle or 31 to Topsail Island Beach This house is great for relaxing, and unplugging but not for parting, meetings, or gatherings. Guest must sign a contract before renting. It is a quiet neighborhood year-round so please keep the noise to a minimum. Past guests have described it as serenity. Although this is a new listing, our previous home that was listed we kept a year-round title of SUPER HOST. Guest access Guests will need to upload a approved government ID to the Airbnb text page or to the email provided with the contract. (This is required for all NC STR's and our Insurance Company.) We ask for a government approved ID upon check-in. Our home is also step free and very easy to access. We give you a code for the door when you arrive or before depending on the situation. We do limit cars to two vehicles. Cars are not allowed to be parked on the curb or road and towing is enforced due to homeowner association rule. Other things to note Upon arrival please check the entire home and make sure everything is acceptable. We at also check ids to make sure the right people are checking in. We take before and after photos and video before every guest arrives so we can know the place is just right and to keep a count of inventory ect. When you arrive if something is wrong this is the time to let us know in person while we are there or to text us thru the Airbnb app. If we do not hear from you within the first 30 minutes, we may reach out to you to make sure everything is ok or assume everything is perfect. We have also placed labels around the cottage in different places to help out with commonly asked questions or concerns from past guests. We hope this will help with house rules or any questions or concerns you may have. Rental agreement is required and must be signed before checking in. This is required by law in all STR in all North Carolina. STR's and our Insurance Company requires a signed agreement. We also check id's or government id's upon check in to insure the person booking is the right one staying in our home. If the Id's do not match the booking will be forfeited and no refund will be given. The person on the booking will be the person checking in. Please do not have other members of your party arriving early. The responsible person booking should be the one checking in and receiving the check-in code. We go the extra mile when it comes to cleaning. We follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process. We sanitize all high touch surfaces such as light switches, doorknobs and refrigerator handles. We vacuum and sanitize pillows and mattress, and bed linens between every guests. We disinfect every room with approved cleaners and use a check list for every room. We empty, wash, and sanitize the ice bucket between every guests stay. These are just a few examples of the extensive cleaning list we perform before your arrival and after you have checked out. We do encourage everyone to come to the area early in the day of check in to explore our beautiful town, beaches and surrounding areas. However, we do not allow early check in because we are not willing to compromise our quality of cleaning and care we put into our home. Cleanliness and the enjoyment of your stay in Ohana Cottage is our utmost priority. We will begin cleaning promptly at 10:00am as soon as our guests check out that morning. So please be aware our check out time is between 9:30 to 10:00 so you are out and on time because we arrive promptly at 10:00 am. We look forward to your stay with us in the future but please be patient while we give you the same amount of care we give every guest who stays with us. The noises in our town are beyond our control. Living in a military town we often hear noises such as artillery, bombing, aircraft and low flying aircraft. Being born and raised here I have been told many times it is not noise, it is "the Sound of our Freedom”! Our home sleeps 5. Two queen beds (4 people) and One couch (1 person). One crib (1 baby). crib must be requested upon booking. We spray twice a month but because we live in the woods, we cannot control the spiders and other insects that try to come in. We also see ants during rainy seasons and do our best to control them. We also use mint and other natural ingredients to detour these guests. Keep in mind we do live on approx. 4 acres of woods, and we cannot control the wildlife. There is a ring camera on the front door of the cottage. There are also cameras on the outside of the property and the outside corners of the buildings. No professional photography!
