Carsin Cottage - lovely stay in the vineyards

A beautiful farmhouse in the middle of the vineyards at an organic winery Chateau Carsin. Old 18th century stone house that has been completely renovated in 2022. Great location, 30mn from Bordeaux, 30mn from Saint-Emilion and 1h30 from Arcachon. Cottage can sleep comfortably 6 guests (max. 8 with bed sofa). The kitchen is fully equipped, you'll have a huge garden area with tables & chairs as well as access to the swimming pool. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The space Carsin was first mentioned in the 1750's and the oldest buildings are from that era. Cottage building has been here for at least 200 years. It has been fully renovated in 2022. You have the house all to yourself and Carsin Cottage can sleep comfortably 6-8 guests. There are three bedrooms with king sized beds (160 x 200 cm) and one bedroom has an extra 90cm bed. There is one big bathroom with an Italian rain shower and upstairs there’s a second toilet next to the bedrooms. Cottage also has a comfortable bed sofa in the upstairs TV-room. The kitchen is well equipped with induction, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge & freezer and a washing machine for clothes. There are basic appliances in the kitchen such bread toaster, electric kettle etc. We always leave some wines waiting for you in the kitchen, feel free to taste them or take them home, they are all yours! There’s a coffee & tea station on the small table. The dining table is extendable if you need more space. In the bathroom, you can find a hairdryer and shampoos etc. which you are also welcome to use. In the cleaning closet upstairs you can find cleaning products, a vacuum cleaner and also high chair for small children. At your arrival during winter, we will show where to find wood for the wood burner. In each room there’s a multicharger and sleeping masks provided for the best possible sleeping experience. The swimming pool is open from May until September. It’s not heated. There’s lounge chairs and umbrellas available. The owners Nea & Fabien might use the pool but we assure you that for the most time you have it for yourself. There are people working in the vineyards, cellars and in the office often 7 days a week. The office is attached to the Cottage, it’s located at the corner. Don’t hesitate to come and see us! Our team is used to visitors, and they are happy to tell you what they are doing (most of them speak a little english too). As farmers, we also need to use tractors and other machinery for our work - so you might hear some noise from these machines. We can assure you that we try not to wake you up at 6 am with our tractors, but as you’re staying at the farm, this is the true farm life! Pets are welcome, but we have cats and chicken wandering around the vineyards so dogs that might harm the chicken need to be kept in a leash.
