Located directly on the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg and a nature reserve, directly surrounded by river, rocks and a historic hydroelectric power station, you will find a unique accommodation on an extensive area. Here you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. For more active days, a private universal sports field and a summer tent from April to October are available, or you can take advantage of other accommodation offers. Looking forward to seeing you soon! The space The 100 m² apartment is located in the completely closed basement of a detached house, directly on its own sports field overlooking the river and rocks. The accommodation is composed of: - Living/kitchen area with terrace and 4 integrated sleeping options incl. bed linens and towels - Bath 1 with sink, shower, toilet and integrated sauna - Bedroom 1 and bedroom 2, each with a 160 × 200 double bed, including bed linens and towels, 55-inch satellite TV and folding desk - Bathroom 2 with sink, shower, bathtub, toilet and urinal - Passage room with fitness equipment - There is the possibility of an extra bed with 2 mattresses (including bedding and towels) as an emergency solution for a maximum Accommodation of 10 people in the apartment. - The apartment has its own sauna and infrared sauna, which can be used for a fee (billing on site). - The bedrooms can be darkened by electric shutters and the entire apartment is heated with underfloor heating. - A washing machine and tumble dryer can be used free of charge on request. Furthermore, 4 e-mountain bikes (Fully-Haibike) can be rented (billing on site). There are up to 8 car parking spaces on the premises. Guest access Our guests have access to the apartment and the entire outdoor area. From April 1 to October, the private universal sports field with adjustable net, ball nets and equipment (rackets/balls in good quality) can be used for the following sports: - Tennis (midfield), soccer tennis, paddle tennis, volleyball, soccer, basketball, table tennis, badminton and dodgeball. In addition, the following activities are available: - Archery, slacklining, spikeball, trampoline The summer tent offers from April 1 April to October 1st, another place for socializing: - Infrared heater, foot heating, grill combination station gas/coal/smoker/beefer with gas, charcoal and lighter, fridge/freezer/ice cubes/crushed ice, fire pit and fire bowl incl. wood, dishes/cutlery, beach chair, TV 65 inch SAT+SKY and Sonos music system - Draft beer Hasseröder Pils, drinks and spirits of all kinds can be purchased for a small surcharge (settlement on site) Please read the separately listed house rules. The owners live in the upper area of the house and are on the property during your stay for minor gardening and repair work. They are always happy to help and can be easily reached via a WhatsApp contact if you have any questions. During your stay, you can also take a free tour of the historic hydropower plant. The location and surroundings have an interesting history about mining and quarrying a rare marble with subsequent processing in a hydro-powered marble mill. Other things to note The apartment is located in the Kreuztal district of the cave town of Rübeland. Due to its central location between the vacation regions of Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Braunlage and Schierke, it is the ideal starting point for discovering the Harz Mountains. Despite the quiet location, there are various shops, bakeries, outdoor swimming pool and restaurants within 5 km. If necessary, we can also organize a pick-up and drop-off service for you at an extra charge. Visit the Blauer See, the Rübeländer Tropfsteinhöhlen or the Rappbode-Talsperre in the immediate vicinity, but also an excursion to the Westernstadt Pullman City or the Hexentanzplatz in Thale are, for example, great experiences. Comprehensive information and tips, as well as hiking and cycling routes are available for you in the apartment. The city of Oberharz am Brocken charges a tourist tax of EUR 2.50 per guest (over 16 years) per night, including VAT. This is already included in the price of the apartment. The evenings can be spent in the spacious summer tent. We are not a party location, so no PA music systems, subwoofers or the like are allowed for party sound on the property. The existing SONOS music system (in the apartment in every room, in the summer tent and on the premises) is loud enough for sports and games. Despite the huge property, we also have neighbors. A reduction in music volume, general volume and sports activities is required from 10 pm. Due to the extensive grounds and the property conditions, children must be supervised at all times. Finally, the cats Blümchen and Arnold live on the property. Arnold sometimes puts his mouse prey in front of the door. Unfortunately, we cannot prevent this and dispose of the remains as quickly as possible. He's just doing his job and enjoying his life to the fullest.
