Lodge overnight in comfort & style in our furnished platform Safari Tents in a perfect tree meadow on the bluffs overlooking the bay and Shelter Island with sunsets 2nd to none. For 2022, we have 12 tents with queen beds and linens. Tents are covered with large rain flies that make a covered porch for the Adirondack Chairs. The space Camp in comfort and style in our platform safari tents -- furnished with bedding -- and enjoy the natural beauty and beaches of Long Island's East End at Cedar Point County Park. Our safari tent glamping sites sit on a small bluff overlooking Northwest Harbor and Shelter Island. Relax under the covered porch in the Adirondack chairs provided and enjoy the amazing sunsets. Two LED lanterns with USB charging ports are provided, night stands, a dresser, two Adirondack chairs and, one to two queen sized beds depending on configuration selected. S04-S09 & S15-S18 are one Queen bed, D26-D27 are two Queen beds. Tents are on elevated wood decks. A picnic table is provided for each tent. Food, beverage, camping supplies, camp fires and programming are available at our Cedar Point Camp Store. We are located in East Hampton, New York on a vast 607 acre park with plenty to do and explore within the park. Montauk, Sag Harbor and ocean beaches are a short drive away. This tent comes with a Single Queen Bed that sleeps up to two persons. For more than 2 guests (up to 4 allowed in the single tent), Cots with bed linens are available for a $25 night fee. Guest access The entire safari tent with covered porch, your picnic table area and Cedar Point County Park. Other things to note Bathrooms and hot showers (Men's & Ladies') are available at the park facility located a couple of hundred yards from the campsites. The shower stalls are large and private with dressing areas that have benches and curtains. These facilities have accessibility accommodations. NOTE, camping and glamping can be buggy so be prepared. Our safari tents have fully screened doors and windows but they are not impenetrable. We sell bug repellent at the nearby Cedar Point Camp store. When in the great outdoors you must always check yourself and your family often for ticks.
