Sauna & Mountain View in Liptov Countryside

Relax surrounded by nature and enjoy the peaceful countryside, where birdsong welcomes you in the morning and a star-filled sky sets the mood in the evening. You’ll have the fully equipped tiny house to yourself, with the option to order a breakfast box filled with local ingredients. For an extra fee, you can enjoy a private sauna. Our small farm and friendly sheep add to the unique rural atmosphere. During the summer, you can use the swimming pool, which is included in the price of your stay. The space Inside there are two places to sleep. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed; the living room has a sofa bed that opens for two more, so the house sleeps four. We can add a cot for a baby on request. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, with a stove, fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle and a Nespresso machine, plus a dining table. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a separate half bath. Outside, the terrace looks onto the mountains, and free parking is right beside the house. Guest access The tiny house shares a fenced garden with one other house on the same plot. The garden is large, so you still get plenty of space and privacy, and the fencing means dogs and small children can roam safely. The barrel sauna, the seasonal heated pool, the trampoline, the fire pit and the BBQ are shared between the two houses. The sauna is booked in time slots so each house gets it to themselves; if the other slot is free, you are welcome to stay longer. Other things to note A few practical notes: 🏔️ The area: You will be staying on the quiet edge of Liptovské Matiašovce. Kvačianska Valley, with its hiking trails and beautiful scenery, is only a 5-minute drive away. A nearby reservoir, ideal for relaxing by the water or fishing, is also just 5 minutes away. Within a short drive, you will also find the Tatralandia and Bešeňová water and thermal parks (10 minutes by car), skiing at Jasná in the Low Tatras (30 minutes by car), cycling trails and caves. The nearest town, Liptovský Mikuláš, with shopping centres, sights, cafés and restaurants, is around 15 minutes away by car. 🍽️ Shops and restaurants: There is no shop or restaurant in the village itself, which is part of what keeps the area so peaceful. Good restaurants serving local food are only a few minutes away by car. Parking is available right beside the house. 🥐 Breakfast baskets: Breakfast baskets filled with local products are delivered to your door in the morning. Prices start from €25 per basket. Please order at least one day in advance. 🧖 Sauna: The sauna is available for an additional fee. Bathrobes, sauna sheets and firewood are included. Prices start from €30 for one session for two people or €40 for unlimited use. The sauna is shared with the second house and booked in private time slots. ☕ Coffee: The house has a Nespresso machine with a few complimentary starter capsules. If you drink a lot of coffee, we recommend bringing some extra capsules. 🏊 Pool: The heated pool is open seasonally, usually during July and August, and is shared between the two houses. 🏡 On the property: There is a second small house on the same property, so you may see other guests in the shared garden.
