LOCATION: Owls Head, very comfortable and centrally located The space THIS PROPERTY ONLY RENTS ON A FRIDAY TO FRIDAY SCHEDULE - 7 NIGHT MINIMUM REQUIRED ROOM LAYOUT:  1st Floor- Kitchen, Dining Area, Living Room, Half Bath, Laundry Room, Day Bed Room, Partially Covered Deck 2nd Floor- King Bedroom, Queen Bedroom , Bedroom with Two Twin Beds,  Full bathroom with Shower/Tub DOGS PERMITTED?  Yes, pets may be considered, but must be preapproved before booking. OA As you enter the home, you will be in the large, deluxe kitchen equipped with all new appliances and amenities to cook up a feast.  Folks can sit at the counter or in the comfortable chairs to converse with those preparing and/or sit at the dining table to play cards. Around the corner is the living room set up with ample seating and a new, large, flat screen Smart TV for an evening movie and a convenient half bath. On the other side of the staircase is a room with a day bed, TV, and a full laundry room off of that. Up the stairs, you will find a king bedroom with flat screen Smart TV, as well as, a sitting area to read a book or relax. There is also a queen bedroom and bedroom with two twins. Between them is a hall bathroom with custom tiled shower/tub combo. All of the bedrooms have an window air-conditioning unit to cool you down and make it very comfortable to sleep. This beautiful home has a large, flat open yard and beautifully landscaped gardens surrounding it for peaceful enjoyment. Head north and enjoy the happening town life that the adjoining towns of Rockland, Rockport and Camden have to offer. Head south and experience "the way life used to be" in Owls Head, Thomaston, Spruce Head, and Tenants Harbor. Outside there is a comfortable back deck to watch the sunset after a day of exploring the lighthouse and/or many public beaches within a mile of the house.  Close by attractions include Owls Head Light State Park or the Owls Head Transportation Museum. With downtown Rockland a short ride away, you can enjoy the Farnsworth Museum, wonderful art galleries, interesting shopping and art museums, plentiful restaurants, golf courses, as well as the museum at the end of the Breakwater inside the Rockland Light, which is still in operation. Occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each home. An infant would be considered or a child in a pack n' play as a 3rd guest. Boat Rentals and other amenities offered through On the Water in Maine Inc. are not available at all the properties we offer for rent. Boat Rentals through Maine Watercraft Rentals Inc. are offered Sunday morning to Friday after 4pm and include free delivery to the property.
