Quiet 2-bedroom house on Acadia's doorstep.

Minutes from Acadia, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and other DownEast destinations. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home in the heart of Vacationland. We are nearing the end of a long renovation, so you will find some projects unfinished (mostly exterior). But, we hope that won't stop you from having a great time exploring the area. New floors, kitchen, lighting, and hot water heat pump - we've poured a lot of love and energy into making this a great spot for our family, and yours! The space The house is a one story ranch on a quarter acre lot, on a quiet, residential street. It includes a dine-in kitchen (everyone's favorite room in the house!), a comfortable living room (Roku TV. wi-fi, standing desk), two bedrooms (one with a queen bed, and one with a double and bunk beds), and bathroom (with laundry). We have done a lot to the house including new appliances, refinishing floors, upgrading the hot water system and more. There are still a few unfinished pieces: the landscaping and some drywall work around the bathroom skylight. Guest access You will have access to the first floor of the house and the entire yard, including grill, deck and firepit. The shed and basement are not accessible to guests. Other things to note If you have questions about the house, availability, a long-term stay, or anything else, please send us a message. We are happy to try to accommodate any special needs that you have. Outdoor grill propane refill is the responsibility of the guest. Please do not bring firewood from outside of Maine.
