A rustic redwood bench and cafe table provide private seating at the foot of the six steps up to the porch and front door; the interior is all on one level. The great room features a comfortable lounging area with a flat-screen smart TV and Bluetooth sound system; a comfortable built-in banquette and handmade redwood dining table comfortably seat four. Original artwork hangs throughout the airy light-filled space. The full kitchen is well-equipped with pots, pans, utensils and gadgets, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder and french press. Two closets provide ample clothes storage. The bedroom nook can be separated from the main space by a rolling barn door; dedicated reading lamps invite cozy lounging on the cotton-furnished queen bed. There’s a full-size bathtub and shower combination. A hair drier, iron and ironing board are supplied. Double-glazed windows ensure quiet; heating and cooling are provided by a mini-split heat pump. Shared laundry facilities are in the basement of the main house. Guest access The cottage is a separate building behind the main house where your hosts live, and is accessed via a separate gate and paved path through the garden.
