You won't worry about getting sand on the floor. Feel the ocean air. Short walk to town. Beautiful light, spacious living & dining rooms. 10min drive to beach. 20min to wineries. Central AC, Fiber WiFi. EQ is a destination for fresh food; a renown fish market, butcher, farm stands, wine store, sushi, bagel shop and more. Nine beds upstairs that can comfortably accommodate 10. We only host guests w/ reviews . No dogs. Thanks for looking! The house was built in the 1860s it has an updated kitchen, central AC, fiber optic wifi and well appointed furnishings. The house is flooded with natural light and its proximity to the bay and ocean provide a cool off shore breeze. There are five bedrooms with a total of nine beds upstairs which can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people. Sorry but no pets, especially dogs. It's just too hard for the house keepers to clean the hair from the furniture. Tesla & Level 2 charger installed in garage next to driveway. Weber gas grill, outdoor dining area, space for kids to run / games. No pool. Healthy, low-toxic environment. The linens are cleaned with Seventh Generation brand laundry detergent without perfume and the household cleaning products are non-toxic as much as possible. Organic fertilizers and weed control on the lawn. Generally a 90 minutes drive from NYC. We have room for three cars in our driveway. Closest LIRR stop is West Hampton (10-minute drive). Jitney stops in East Quogue, three blocks from the house. I will be available over the phone or text to deal with any issues and will send the location of house keys before you check in. There is a house keeper and other maintenance personnel on call to deal with any issues as well. The house will be vacant when you arrive. East Quogue is the hidden gem of the Hamptons. Relaxed, quiet, breezy and just the right amount of stuff you need while out for the weekend: farm stands, wine shop, sushi, amazing butcher, bagel spot and a 7-Eleven down the road. Bikes are great for town and tooling around the neighborhood and down to the bay. Tiana and Ponquogue beaches on Dune Rd offer public parking for $30/day and are a 10-15 minute drive from the house. PARKING FOR FOUR CARS ONLY. If you're into cooking, East Quogue is a destination for fresh food. We have one of the only two fish markets on Long Island (Lighthouse Seafood - formerly Cor-J) that sells fish caught same day, Densieski farm stand that sells produce picked same day and the renown Sonny's Prime Meats, a butcher that sells unparalleled steaks and other meats. There's also the New Moon Cafe, Goldberg's bagel shop, Sakura House sushi, well provisioned wine store, massage parlor and a couple of low-key bars. During the summer season, beach access requires $30 parking passes which can be easily purchased at two nearby town beaches along Dune Rd.
