It is private, peaceful, formally a family farm & has herb filled garden beds & gorgeous tree lined sunset views. It is equipped with all you’ll need to make your stay comfortable. Enjoy the peace & quiet of this countryside retreat with access to unlimited activities in both Nevada & Placer counties. The space This peaceful country cottage is in an excellent location close to many activities, attractions & happenings in Nevada & Placer County. Equestrian ranches, wineries, breweries, live music, nightlife, kayaking, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, fine dining, community events, farmers markets, boutique shopping, & more. There is an abundance of trails, lakes, and rivers to enjoy nearby (Yuba, Bear & American). Or just go slow, enjoy the peace & quiet, relax in a hammock, & take in the sunset views through the oaks & pines, with glimpses of wildlife passing through. On those hot summer days the Bear river is a short 10 min drive for a cool, refreshing dip. It is 45 min East of Sacramento, 20 min from Auburn & 20 min from downtown Nevada City & South Lake Tahoe is only 60 miles away. The cottage has a large spacious loft bedroom with beautiful natural light, skylight and sunset views. Please note we have a spiral staircase with a vertical, circular design that maximizes floor space efficiency. The living area is equipped with a pull out futon couch, a small dining table, and TV for movie nights. The kitchen has a full size fridge, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, french press and all you should need for cooking a nice meal. The front porch has seating for 2 to enjoy your morning coffee/tea or evening meals. Will consider one pet only. Please inquire for more information.
