The space A separate detached private building just remodeled with all new bathroom, a main room with queen bed, easy chairs, TV, internet, AC and heat. Big window views bring the mountains to your room, enjoy the rocking chairs on the sun deck amid this tranquil special place where the high desert meets the Rockies. Vineyards, orchards, farm markets, the rivers, creeks, hiking trails and Black Canyon National Park are all close by. Ideal for two people, sorry no pets. Guest access La Casita is located in a private compound 10 minutes from Paonia or Hotchkiss 1 mile up a paved county-maintained road to the edge of the mesa. Just at the end of the pavement turn to the left to the entrance of the private compound, where you will see signs pointing you to La Casita. Four wheel drive isn't necesary. La Casita will be at the end of the driveway to the left. Other things to note La Casita is situated just over 6000 feet above sea level amid the trees. It have can stoning view of the mountains. Wild lands are nearby and wildlife sitings are frequent.
