The Chase - Luxury Hot Tub Retreat (Pets Welcomed)

The Chase is a beautiful modern home in peaceful Dipton — ideal for celebrations, family gatherings, friend trips, or a simple reset. With scenic surroundings and a fully enclosed 6–7ft fenced garden, it’s a warm, welcoming space where adults, children and dogs all feel right at home. The space When holidaying at The Chase you can look forward to curling up in the large, yet cosy living room and dining area. The huge corner sofa makes it a perfect area to relax and unwind with family and friends, playing board games or catching up with a Netflix binge. This home is also a little piece of our story — it’s the very first property that inspired what later became XL Escapes, chosen for its comfort, privacy and the rare peace of mind its secure outdoor space offers. It’s where our hosting journey began. Should you wish to cook up a storm in the large modern kitchen, you can gather everyone around the glass dining table to enjoy the fruits of your labour with garden views through the double patio doors. The kitchen also features a stunning solid wood breakfast bar that seats up to 4, again with double patio doors to soak up the garden views. The beautiful, tiered garden is perfect to unwind in on a sunny day, or stargaze on a clear night. The paved area just outside of the patio doors has an outdoor kitchen area and BBQ, a large dining table with wooden benches, a beautifully lit arbour and 2 modern rattan rocking chairs — ideal for outdoor dining, lazing with the family or a few bevvies with friends. The fenced-off area just outside of the patio doors is where our impressive hot tub is, with a gorgeous floral wall installed behind it, offering privacy whilst still taking in the views of the garden. The next three tiers are grassed areas, with 2 incredibly comfortable helicopter swings for a lazy garden afternoon. On a sunny day this catches the rays sunrise to sunset! On the top tier is a beautiful lounge and bar area, covered with beautiful solar lights and an outdoor plug fitted. The entire garden is fully enclosed with continuous secure fencing (even behind the hedges), ranging between 6ft–7ft high with a tall locking gate. It was one of the main reasons we fell in love with the property — offering rare peace of mind for families with children and guests bringing dogs. We have a projector and projector screen, a karaoke machine, and a darts board available, all of which are free for guests to set up and use at their leisure to make the stay as fun and as memorable as possible! On the middle floor, there are 3 bedrooms and a master bathroom. The impressive teal bedroom features an ambassador (king size) bed, a single bed with another pull out single underneath, and a large flat screen TV. As standard, we will not set up the pull-out single mattress, only the main single bed, unless you specifically instruct us to set up the two singles in advance. The beautiful white bedroom features a double bed, dressing table and chair which can also be used as an office area, a flat screen TV/DVD player and Firestick. The navy bedroom features a beautiful ornate double bed, a large lean-to mirror and a large flat screen TV with a Firestick. All bedrooms have blackout blinds guaranteeing you a great night's sleep. The master bathroom comes complete with an impressive large bath, guaranteeing relaxation, and separate walk-in waterfall shower. On the top floor you'll find the stunning master bedroom and ensuite. The bedroom has an impressive king size bed with LED lights surrounding the headboard, with a wall mounted smart TV for those lazy breakfast in bed mornings. With windows either side you can take in the gorgeous views overlooking the Derwentside Valley or see the garden from an entirely different angle and envision which area you can see yourself sitting in later. The modern ensuite is complete with a large bath, walk in waterfall shower and illuminated bathroom mirror. The home features a fabulous sound system where the living room can play music from the ceiling. (We do however ask guests to be considerate of the neighbours during quiet hours.)
