In this Houseboat in Stavoren, the holiday feeling starts immediately when you cross the gangway. You experience the water around you on all sides. You can also go into the water from one of the swimming stairs and swim at your own berth, in what can be seen as a natural swimming pool. The center of the Elfstedenstadje is nearby and yet awakened by the birds, which is characteristic of this custom-made and warmly decorated Houseboat. Welcome to a vacation that is just a little different. The space The Houseboat is custom-made and clad with preserved red-cedar wood. The boat is intended to be able to celebrate a holiday in a comfortable way and suitable for 2 to 4 people. The boat also has two (free) parking spaces and a spacious terrace on the shore (approximately 75 m2) with a dining table and chairs. Right next to the terrace, you will find a swimming platform with swimming stairs. In bad weather, an indoor swimming pool can also be used in Stavoren. To enjoy the water, there is also a Sup available. Electric whisper boats can also be rented from Greenjoy about 50 meters away. Regarding the furnishing of the Houseboat: In the living room you will find a three-person sofa, an armchair, a smart TV and a round dining table with four chairs with armrests. There is also WiFi and a sound box to stream your own music. You can watch television via the internet. For example, you can use your own Netflix account on the small Smart TV that is connected to the internet. The kitchen features a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, ceramic hob with extractor hood, a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a toaster and hand blender available. The Houseboat has two bedrooms with options to hang clothes. The bedrooms have luxurious Swiss-sense box spring beds with comfort topping mattresses. There is a double bed and there is a bedroom with two single beds. Bedding is provided. In the bathroom you will find a shower cabin, bathroom furniture, toilet and a towel radiator. Towels are provided. There is a hairdryer. The boat includes terraces 13 meters long and 4.30 meters wide. At the front of the boat is a second terrace with a swimming ladder. The terrace has four chairs with footstools and side tables for lounging. The terrace has a fantastic south-facing location and offers sun all day. However, the terrace at the rear of the boat also offers shade. From the terrace at the front of the boat, you have a view of the boats that sail in and out of the harbor via the characteristic drawbridge. There are 32 berths in this private inner harbor. The cozy city center of Stavoren with various restaurants and terrace is nearby. You just have to cross the water. A large COOP supermarket with a wide range is just a stone's throw away. So the fresh rolls are also nearby in the morning. In the Houseboat, there is a folder with information about what to do in Stavoren and the surrounding area. In the center, there is also a tourist office to tell you about the many possibilities. The tennis court can also be rented there (and the key can be picked up). The tennis court is within walking distance of the Houseboat. The tourist office is located in the center of Stavoren near the old lock at the bridge. This luxury villa can accommodate 6 guests and is located near the houseboat. Guest access The entire houseboat is exclusively for guests. There is a basement under the boat, in which we store items intended to facilitate the rental and which cannot be used by the guests. Other things to note The Houseboat is, as the name implies, a boat. The (usually gentle) swaying with the movement of the water generally gives a relaxing feeling. However, if you are highly sensitive to seasickness, the stay is not recommended, because the Love to Float is and remains a boat. Furthermore, the water level in the harbor can vary by as much as a meter in height per day. The water in the inner harbor is directly connected to open water. Depending on the strength and position of the wind, the water level can vary by about one meter in height. The gangway will thus be steeper one time than the other. For people with difficulty walking, despite the armrests on the gangway, especially in autumn and winter, when the wind is often a bit stronger, it can be difficult to get on or off board. The water around the boat is natural water that can vary in depth. Despite the positive fact that the water is connected to open water, the quality of the (swimming) water cannot be guaranteed by us.
