Kitchen: Coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer, basic cooking essentials. Parking: Free, driveway, can hold up to 3 vehicles and trailer/camper parking. Guest access Guests are free to use the guest house and porch, but are not allowed to enter into the main house resistance. Other things to note As you enter your morning with a cup of coffee and enjoy the songbirds and fountain scenery, feel free to drive to Hickory, 24 miles away. For a quick bite to eat, enjoy the historic train depo called “Old Hickory Station” located in downtown Hickory, restored, and operated by Old Hickory Brewery. After enjoying your lunch, you might be inclined for shopping at Union Square or visiting Le Grande Salon & Day Spa, for a relaxing afternoon. Swing over to “Fourk” for cocktail hour while you wait for your dinner reservations at the “Vintage House” (reservations required). Enjoy a day on the lake, to experience boat or jet skis, visit CS Boat Rentals in Mooresville, 16 miles away. Don’t forget to grab a picnic lunch.
