This off-grid spacious yurt is the ideal get away for glamping in the heart of nature with a little luxury like a wood fired sauna and being close to amenities. Within walking distance of historic town of Culross, made famous by "Outlander". Only 30 minutes from Edinburgh airport, with Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow all within an hour. Ideally located for visiting Fife coast and St Andrews with many coastal and woodland walks. Reg no: FI 00654 P The space An 18ft spacious yurt within a beautiful garden of 1 acre by the banks of the firth of Forth. The garden is home to many unusual plants, chickens, bee hives, pygmy goats and many ponds. The yurt is insulated for extra warmth with a wood burning stove and has a double bed, table, sofa and chairs. (bedding provided) There is a fully plumbed toilet and shower room with hot water a short walk away. Guests can also use the wood fired sauna (by donation) You also have access to a covered outdoor kitchen area with a double camping gas hob with grill, a BBQ and a kettle for tea/coffee for your use. There is a socket for charging phones. There are various kitchen utensils, plates, glasses etc. and a cool box with icepacks so you can chill drinks and food. This beautiful yurt can be a base for your explorations along the east coast or as you venture into Edinburgh. It's also a wonderfully quiet spot to simply be in nature, walk along the shore or listen to the bird song. Your host also offers many retreat wellbeing services such as: Reflexology, shamanic Healing and Reiki which can be booked to enhance your stay Note: Gas hob will not function in very cold weather.
