Description
Live like in a museum in a 300-year-old wooden house in the middle of a village in the Töss Valley, make fires in the wood-burning stove and experience the low old rooms with original lattice windows, farmhouse furniture, tiled stove and many interesting antique objects. The space The old house is made entirely of wood and pretty dark everywhere, the floorboards creak and everything is low, crooked and ringing. For tall people it can be uncomfortable, they have to duck their heads everywhere because the rooms are all so low, people used to be quite a bit smaller than today. On the first floor, on the street side, is the living room with the tiled stove, then the kitchen with the dining table, the toilet with shower and out back a small garden with seating. On the 2nd floor there is a room on the street side, which therefore has quite a lot of car noise and the second room is at the rear on the garden side. Directly above the house is the church with its bells, which ring very loudly or very pleasantly depending on your sensitivity. Guest access The kitchen is equipped with a wood-burning stove, electric stove, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, dishes and food. The kitchen can be shared by guests for a fee for the food consumed. The room with the TV can also be used, but the TV does not have many channels. The washing machine and dryer can also be used, for a fee for the electricity costs. In addition, a fine breakfast can be ordered for 10 Fr per day, with homemade bread and homemade jam, plus cheese, egg, yogurt, fruits and of course coffee and tea. Other things to note The property is located in Wila, which is about 45 minutes by car from Zurich and Kloten Airport. Wila is also very easy to reach by train or PostBus. From Zurich to Wila you need about 60 minutes by train.
