The Cultural Hive-private studio

This cozy cultural hive, offers a private guest studio is tucked away at the rear of our property. Just 3 minutes from scenic Ocean Drive & 10 minutes from downtown and beaches. It’s near to the heart of the city. Starbucks, restaurants, and shopping centers are around the corner—convenience is truly at your doorstep. You'll have off-street parking spot on a mulch pad next to our driveway in front of the main house. With 3 major hospitals nearby, it’s also ideal for medical professionals. The space The Cultural Hive is a cozy studio that includes a sleeping area, a private bathroom with a shower, and a comfortable living & eating space. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, air-fryer, and tabletop burners. We provide dishes, cooking utensils, as well as kitchen and bath towels & linens for your convenience. Please note that we’re located off a busy street, so you may hear traffic at times during the day. If you're looking for total silence, this may not be the best fit. Smoking or vaping is not allowed inside the studio. Outdoor smoking is permitted, and a bucket is provided for proper disposal of cigarette butts. For your comfort, The Hive has a window A/C unit, a ceiling fan, and a stand-up fan in the closet—perfect for those who enjoy a little white noise while sleeping. Outside, the front sitting area is a lovely spot to unwind with a cup of tea or coffee. You're welcome to relax anywhere in the yard. From time to time, I may be out tending to the plants or doing yard work. If you're traveling with a boat or sporting gear and need to unhitch it, just let me know. We can arrange to store it securely behind the gate—as long as it’s parked on the driveway and not on the grass. A lock and key will be provided for your convenience. Guest access Arrival & Parking When you arrive, you'll have on-site parking right in front of the main house on the designated mulch pad next to the driveway. The area is well-lit. You can enter through either the driveway gate or the deck gate. The Hive is located about 50 feet behind the main house, giving you plenty of privacy during your stay. On the day of your arrival, I’ll send you the door code for easy self-check-in. If you're towing a boat or other equipment, let me know in advance—we can securely store it behind the gate as long as it remains on the driveway, not the grass. Other things to note If you're visiting for a special occasion and prefer not to use a rideshare service, I may be able to offer drop-off and pick-up for a small fee—equal to what you'd pay for an Uber, but with the added peace of mind that your host is providing the service. Availability is limited, so please inquire at the time of booking.
