Located in lakeview this is a Private bedroom in a great location just 1/2 a Block to Wrigley Field (Cubs Stadium).This neighborhood is pretty safe and nightlife is amazing just few blocks away you will find great bars and restaurants that are open until very late. Accesible public transportation 24/7 (Addison red line just 7 min walking) and just 16 min by car / 23 min by Public transportation to Downtown Chicago. Please read whole advertisement before booking. The space You will have a full size bed, a twin bed and a futon and just if you ate 5 guests we will add for free an extra twin flor mattress in a private bedroom with a share bathroom. You will have your own key to lock your bedroom. To get in the house or building we use a keypad. This bedroom is in the basement and bedroom has no windows but there is plenty and bright light. Parking is not very easy and it’s not free. You can have a parking permit that will let you park on the street per extra 10$ a night per car, you will need one ticket every 24 hours and we don’t guarantee parking next to the house. *I only accept payments through Airbnb platform* Guest access You can use the kitchen, oven, pan, pots, plates, coffee maker, etc (just if you leave it clean) Also the bathroom in the floor where your bedroom is, living room, hair dryer, iron. You will have WiFi, clean towels (1 p/person) sheets, comforter, Shampoo (2in1), hand’s soap, body’s soap, toilet paper. During your stay Always text me though airbnb app as this is going to be the fastest and more efficient way to communicate as I can easily see all your information, reservation details , and everything I need to help you better. Other things to note Make sure the reservation is set to the RIGHT AMOUNT OF GUESTS as if you set the reservation for 1 person means that just 1 person can access and nobody else even if the bedroom has more capacity. The room has a good size for the full size bed and the twin size and the futon it has. If you want to add 5 people in the reservation I could set the extra mattress for you with no extra charge but then the room will become smaller and even uncomfortable becase you will have an extra bed that was not originally set. This is a good option if you want to save even more money otherwise you can book two bedrooms! *if you want we can set the extra mattress, but if your reservation is set for less than 5 guests, you will have to pay a fee of 15$ per night to have the extra mattress As most of United States Houses this is not made with concrete so you will hear people walking, talking, etc. It doesn’t bother most of the people but if you are a very light sleeper you should choose a modern apartment (three floor apartments or traditional houses all has the same problem) or have an earphone or something for block the sound. This bedroom is in a basement and the ceiling is short so If you are over 6’2’’ you might hit your head. Also the bedroom doesn’t have window. This is a share apartment with other people, so is NOT a good option if: 1-You are a light sleeper or sensitive to noises: as you’ll hear everything, even when someone flush the toilet as Chicago houses are not make with concrete. The neighborhood is also noisy. We recommend to bring earplugs because you can expect noises. 2-If you are meticulously with cleaning: as even though we clean the place you can expect that other guests you share with could be not as clean as you wish and even though once a day the cleaner cleans if they already left and someone leave something dirty it’s going to remain like that until next day. 3- if you don’t tolerate smells: as you can expect cigarette smell, marihuana smell, strong food smell, body odor smell, animal smell, humidity smell, perfumes, air fresheners, but also you can expect the share bathroom left stinky specially after someone use it and any other kind of smell even in your bedroom because as we have central heat / AC any smell will circulate from the whole house. We don’t allow to cook smelly food and we will warn our guests when they do it and also we don’t allow smoking inside and we will enforce 200$ fine to those who do it, but sometimes you can expect that people won’t read the rules and can break those while we enforce them. You can expect any kind of smell at any share apartment as this one. We have an average WiFi if you need a very fast one you may considerate another option that could guarantee you that. We can’t be responsible for food left in the fridge specially if is not label it with your bedroom number and name. We have cameras outside the listing. We don’t have / don’t offer the following services: laundry, luggage storage service, late checkout. Sometimes we can do an Early checkin service after 1pm for extra 20$ (ask to make sure it’s available) We don’t have TV in our properties due to several complains from our guests when they were trying to sleep and other guests were with the TV ON , if your bring your own device we request to have it with very low volume. We provide a set of liens and 1 towel per guest when you arrive and during your whole reservation. In case you want extra towels and or liens we will charge again the cleaning fee. If you don’t want to spend anything extra we authorize you to wash it when you go to laundromat, or you can bring your own extra liens and towels. We don’t consideraste this share place a good fit for kids, specially if they are younger than 8 years old. We highly recommend you to get the affordable airbnb INSURANCE for unexpected circumstances. People never expect a lost during the trip , or having a healthy emergency or lost the trip but sometimes unexpected circumstances happens and that insurance is to cover that and get a refund if something happens. If you don’t pay for it, that will be your choice but if an emergency occur you will loose your money. We use firm mattresses in most of our places, but sometimes we have soft mattress too if you have a special requirement for mattress we recommend you book a place that could guarantee the kind of mattress you are expecting to find. This is Chicago so outside the listing you can expect to see: cats, rats, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels and our neighbors can have dogs or any other pets, always keeps the doors and windows closed to avoid they get inside.
