Moores Mills lake is 10 minutes from the nearest town of St Stephen NB. If this is considered too far, or not an ideal location for you then don't book with us because we are in the country. We want our guests to be happy with their location. Our fully stocked kitchen offers all the cook's necessities plus coffee, tea and condiments. We provide all linens, bath towels and firewood and more. Pack light and enjoy! Stunning living and dining area with floor to ceiling windows brings the outdoors inside. The cottage is ready for all seasons with a heat pump for heating and air conditioning. Each room also has its own thermostat and lots of blankets for those extra cozy evenings. Fans in each bedroom make warm summer nights a breeze. Enjoy watching your favourite movie in the living room on the 51 inch smart tv and enjoy some popcorn with the popcorn maker provided. Then cozy up with blankets provided! After watching a movie, enjoy a quiet relaxing star show at night in the 5 person hot tub. It features multi coloured lights and a blue tooth sound system for all your favourite tunes. Two spacious bedrooms await! The primary bedroom has a King-sized bed and is upstairs with a lake view and has an ensuite bathroom and a workspace. The secondary bedroom also features a King-sized bed and is next to a full bathroom. There is a Queen-sized pull out bed in the living room. Outdoors enjoy our BBQ, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, pedal boating, fishing, sunning on the dock in summer. Ice fishing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing in winter. We are located in the woods, so anyone that doesn't like insects (misquitoes, spiders, moths, bees, wasps, outdoor critters, etc.) this may not be the place for you. We have no control over Mother Nature. So enjoy the surroundings and keep your eyes open because you never know what wonder of nature you will see. Our favourite place on a rainy day is the screened-in porch. With comfy furniture you can enjoy your morning coffee or play a game. Our property is ideal for couples, families and friends looking for a stress-free quiet retreat. Love The Cottage-Lake Escape is an East-Coast Gem just waiting for you. Our driveway is maintained all year round. Four parking spaces. 10 min from St Stephen for all your conveniences. There is a locked upstairs closet that is off limits as well as a pantry downstairs. Everywhere else is available to our guests including kayaks, canoe, pedal boat, tubes, floating dock and life jackets. We reside on the same property all year round in a separate cottage. Both are on Moore's Mills Lake, NB. We love knowing our guests have a wonderful stay, and we take pride in hosting. If you need anything, we are available 24/7 on Airbnb's messaging system. The lakefront offers year-round fishing with small and big mouth bass, pickerel, and trout. In winter, fall, spring, and summer, enjoy the various activities the area has to offer all year round. Our guests love that they can go pedal boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, skating, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, walks on the frozen lake, and all weather permitting. You have your own parking area next to the lake house which could hold four cars. We are 10 minutes from St Stephen NB and the US border (Calais Maine) and only 25-30 minutes from St. Andrews NB. Don't forget in winter to bring your snowshoes and/or cross country skis and skates (depending on wether conditions) Moores Mills Lake is one of the few lakes in NB that allows ice fishing.
