A very warm welcome to 'Croft Cottage' We are confident you will enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay at our beautiful family cottage. We are just a short 5-10 minutes walk from the famous Quarry, the fabulous Wyle Cop and the heart of Shrewsbury. Croft Cottage has been in our family for 100 years, so is steeped in family history and wonderful memories. The cottage went through an extensive redevelopment in 2020 to provide a modern, contemporary and well equipped home from home experience. The space As you open the door you enter into a light, cosy front lounge with corner sofa and wall mounted 42' Smart HD TV and stairs directly in front. You will get a sense of the home we have created for ourselves and guests alike. As you head to the rear of the cottage through another door this takes you to the heart of the property, the kitchen, which is modern, open plan and fully equipped with everything you would expect from a modern kitchen dining room. The kitchen/dining space hosts a large oval table for comfortable dining and part of that open plan is a sun room extension which has two double sofas a further wall mounted 42' Smart HD TV and Soundbar. There is also a downstairs toilet and cloakroom. The sun room is a true treasure, comfortable, beautifully light and leads onto a lower tier patio and landscaped walled garden. Here you can relax with a cup of tea, G&T or a glass of your favourite tipple. It offers a truly quiet and relaxing space and so close to the town centre. There is a further secluded patio at the top of the garden with extra seating. Heading upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a surprising large bathroom for this size of property. The bathroom offers a large modern shower, a large bath and sink/vanity unit and toilet. The front bedroom has a comfy KINGSIZE double bed, and offers a fabulous view of Shrewsbury's skyline. The second bedroom has two very comfortable 2ft6 single beds, with under storage. This room is at the back of the house with a lovely view of the landscaped garden. Croft Cottage offers private parking for 2 cars which for this location is a real bonus. There is also off street parking available. Guest access The guests can access all rooms. There is a locked cupboard in the main bedroom. No access to hosts drinks & food cupboard. Other things to note Croft Cottage is located in a quiet residential corner of Shrewsbury so we ask guests to respect our lovely neighbours.
