Enjoy the beautiful country view of Central Ohio's rolling hills and valleys by staying at our light and airy daylight apartment featuring a charming fiber art décor. Centrally located for exploring Mount Vernon's attractions of quaint shops, craft breweries, theater and art venues and local universities. Kokosing Gap rail trail/river and Mohican State Park offer hiking, biking and kayaking adventures. Wineries/vineyards, Apple Valley Lake, Amish Country are perfect for a couples getaway. The space Relax on a loveseat in the sitting/bedroom area with the cozy ambiance of an electric fireplace enjoying the smart tv and use of Wi-Fi. The queen sized bed is comfortable for a peaceful nights sleep. Enjoy the fiber arts of handspun yarn, weaving, crochet and felted items mostly made from alpaca of which we used to raise. A fully equipped kitchen with coffee and essential kitchen items. A seasonally available herb garden by the entrance is available for guests choosing to cook a meal. A private modernized bathroom with a tiled shower is also provided. Guest access Your own driveway leads up to the apartments' private entrance which is accessible for self-check in using key code access. Outdoor seating under the oak tree by the driveway and a concrete bench by the front red maple tree is available for your use to enjoy the outdoors and see the views of the countryside. Other things to note We do not permit our guests to have pets as we have our own friendly dog. She lives with us above but may greet you as you come and go. We do have active honeybee hives on the property.
