There are many beaches and coastal walks around the Roseland, some can be started from the cottage. There is also a great bus service from the cottage to St Mawes. The Eden Project, Heligan Gardens are near St Austell and Falmouth & Truro are a short drive or ferry ride (St Mawes for foot ferry or King Harry Car Ferry - near Trelissick Gardens).
