The space This 28 sqm studio apartment was thoughtfully renovated in winter 2021. Designed for both short and long-term stays, it offers a comfortable and stylish base for your Chamonix valley adventure. A harmonious blend of old and new, the interior features a mix of modern design and traditional materials, creating a light, calm, and inviting atmosphere. Located on the third floor, the apartment is easily accessible by stairs or elevator. Despite being near a road, the apartment itself is remarkably quiet, nestled within a friendly residential building. Inside, an open-plan layout enhances the feeling of space and light, intentionally free from cluttering dividing walls. For added privacy and noise reduction from the corridor, a clever door allows you to close off the hallway and bathroom. Wake up to truly stunning and uninterrupted east-facing views! The private balcony directly overlooks the majestic Chamonix mountains, featuring the Aiguille du Midi and even a glimpse of the normal route to Mont Blanc. It's the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink al fresco, complete with a provided table and chairs. Upon arrival, you'll find a dedicated space in the hallway for hanging jackets and storing shoes and ski boots. Inside, ample storage is available with an open wardrobe, shelves, underbed storage units and cupboards for your belongings. For your relaxation, a selection of books and magazines awaits. Please note: While there's no TV, the private, fast fiber optic internet connection (installed September 2024) ensures you can stream your favorite shows on your own devices seamlessly. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs, featuring an induction stove with two hobs, a mini oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, French press, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. A washing machine is conveniently located in the kitchen, and a drying rack can be found under the bed. Cleaning products and a vacuum cleaner are also provided in the kitchen pantry cupboard. The main sleeping area features a comfortable 140cm x 190cm bed with a brand new double duvet, pillows, and fresh linen. For additional storage, there are wire baskets under the bed. For privacy, this space can be separated from the main living area by soft cotton curtains. This versatile space also doubles as a compact office, with a movable work table, light, and chair, perfect for those working remotely. For additional guests, a foldable sofa bed (140cm x 200cm) comfortably accommodates two children or one adult, with individual duvets and pillows provided. It may not be a comfortable solution for a long-term stay. Please notify me beforehand if you anticipate extra guests so I can arrange the linen. The sofa bed is thoughtfully positioned to offer mountain views upon waking. For a darker room, simply close the curtains or roll down the external shutters. Kindly note, the manual shutters can be a little stiff and require a firm hand. Finally, the simple yet charmingly decorated bathroom features a bathtub with a shower, a hairdryer, basic toiletries, and fresh towels. Your comfort is the priority. Guest access As a guest, you will have exclusive access to the entire apartment, including the private balcony. My aim is to make your stay as smooth as possible with these convenient amenities: Parking: A free, unassigned car park is located right beside the building. While spaces are often available, please be aware that it can get busy during peak seasons, so a spot isn't always guaranteed. Don't worry, the Bellevue lift station is very close by and offers additional parking options if needed. Winter Ski Locker: Keep your ski gear safe and dry! A dedicated ski locker is available within the building for your use during the winter months. Complimentary Guest Card (Carte d'Hôte): To help you explore the beautiful valley effortlessly, I provide a complimentary Guest Card. This offers free train travel and discounted bus travel, allowing you to leave your car behind and relax. Extended Stay Storage: Planning a longer visit? We may be able to offer additional storage space downstairs. Please let me know if this is something you require when booking. Other things to note Important Notes for Your Stay: Extra Guests & Bedding: If you are travelling with additional guests or require separate beds, please notify me in advance so we can prepare the correct linen. An extra fee of €20 per person, per night applies for additional guests. Traveling with Children: Children are welcome! However, please note that the apartment is not childproofed. There is a third-floor balcony, and parents will need to provide all child-specific items (e.g., cots, high chairs). Questions?
