BOOK TWO OR MORE NIGHTS AND GET A DISCOUNT! This 1 bedroom, 1 bath unique home sleeps up to 4 people and is known as the John Paul House. Lots of windows and natural light with views of the town. Goldfield has a great history and has many places to explore. The International Car Forest is walking distance. Most of our guests are just passing through, the biggest regret they have is that they did not stay another night to explore this little known desert gem. The space Queen bed in the bedroom and a full size sofa sleeper in the living room. Bathroom has a shower and tub and is accessible from either the bedroom or the main living area making it easy to share. The kitchen has a Keurig coffee maker, a toaster and most of the items necessary to make meals. Gas BBQ. Washer and dryer are available. The house is on a hill with great views, unfortunately some of those view are of the abandoned trailers that were left over from the last gold boom in the 1980s. Guest access There is a large parking area with room for cars or an RV. Other things to note There is only one restaurant in town that is open for breakfast and lunch (closed Sunday), nearest grocery store and is 25 miles away in Tonapah, so plan accordingly. There is emergency food in the house which you are welcome to if you need it. Our kitchen has utensils to prepare meals. There is also a gas BBQ. There is gas heat and a wood burning stove in the home. It is preferred that you use the gas heat but the stove is available for those who are familiar with how to operate a wood burning stove and have brought fire wood. Although there is a lot of vacant land around us, our property is small, just the house and the parking area, all the property in the immediate area is all privately owned. Stay off of others property. There is no digging, rock collecting, shooting, paintball, fires or fireworks allowed. Thanks
