Cozy 2 bedroom Cottage on River Lagan

Relax and have fun with friends and family at a homey cottage right by the river. The space Inside - Our little cottage has 2 floors. First Floor: The kitchen - A small but functional kitchen (please note no dishwasher) with electric stove and oven, coffee brewer, water kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer. The dining space - is in the kitchen with a large rustic wooden table that can seat 6-8 guests. The living room - is a next to the kitchen which holds a comfy sofa, arm chair, coffee table and fire place. There is a TV but no channels but you can stream using Chrome Cast. Glass Room - a small room with which perfect to sit and read your book with lovely views of the garden and river. Main Bedroom - Is located next to the kitchen and it has 1 king size bed, closet space. This room is facing the road so you might hear traffic in the mornings. Bathroom - is located in the hallway and had a shower, toilet, sink with storage and a washer machine. Please note that we have a small water heater, the hot water will last for 2-3 people showering after each other, you might have to wait a couple of hours for the water heater to fill up. Attic - A steep stair (with railing only on one side) takes you to the renovated attic which has pretty views over the river. The main area has a low bed with two single mattresses, comfortable sleeps 2 (the beds can be separated by the guests if preferred), a reading chair and a small glass desk. Please note there is 1 uncovered window so it won’t get very dark in the summer months, incase you are sensitive to light when sleeping. Through a small “hobbit” door you fill find a cute bedroom with a twin bed, perfect for a single person or two smaller children. This room is facing the road so you might hear some traffic in the early morning if you are sensitive to noise. Outside - there is a good size covered patio with easy direct access to the living room. Here you can enjoy breakfast and dinner, lovely views over garden and river. To get down to the lawn choose your preference of taking the steps or the slide... :) The lawn is great for playing and garden games, direct access to the river for a morning dip. Have fun on the trampoline or take a trip on the rowing boat or fish directly from the lawn, if you are lucky you can prepare the fresh catch on the BBQ. Enjoy late summer evenings on the wooden deck. Don’t be surprised if you spot a fox, hare or dear in the garden. Enjoy the berries and rhubarbs around the garden! Guest access Everywhere Other things to note This is great place for families or a couple. We recommend that the children can swim as there is no fence that separates the garden and the river. The cottage is located next to a road so there are some traffic noise in the mornings. As there are no Fiber the internet are sometimes a bit weak. Please note there is very steep staircase up to the attic, one side is open with no railing so small children needs to be supervised. The ceiling in the attic is low so mind your head.
