Description

Unwind and get back to nature at Tallowood. An eco retreat hidden in the forest, halfway between Cooroy and Tewantin in the Noosa hinterland. The space Enjoy open plan living flowing out to the resort sized pool and a cozy log fireplace on the colder nights. Wake up to the sounds of birdsong. Triple filtered rain water is plumbed into the fridge for drinking. Natural materials are used as much as possible throughout the home. Linen, towels, natural toiletries, and yoga mats are provided. The pool runs on an ionized system so uses minimal chemicals. There is a Breville coffee machine with grinder, soda stream, blender, slow cooker, rice cooker, regular oven, steam oven and induction cooktop. There is a small herb and vege garden outside the kitchen which you are welcome to forage in. The lounge room tv has Netflix and free to air stations (via home wifi). A bedroom wall mounted tv has Netflix and and XBox. Guest access All parts of the home and property are accessible. The home sits on 5 acres of land, half of which is grassed, the other half being pristine rainforest. You are free to wander through the forest and paddock. Other things to note The home is professionally cleaned before/after each booking. All linen is professionally laundered. Consumables like shampoo, body wash, washing liquid etc are all provided. Please be aware that the home is situated in a natural forested environment and as such, there are insects and wildlife in abundance - butterflies, dragonflies, mosquitoes at night, spiders, kangaroos, hares, deer, foxes, snakes, and yes the odd cockroach. The house itself is very clean and free of cockroaches and insects, however if you leave the screen doors open you may let some in. It is best to keep the screen doors shut to keep the wildlife outside where it belongs!
