It is a private part of Foxholes House which dates back to the early 1700s and was once part of the Longleat Estate (The Marquess of Baths’ crest remains on the wall in the main part of the house). The property benefits from a tasteful bedroom, en suite shower room, modern kitchen/lounge, and a private patio with outside dining area. The space The Den is part of Foxholes House and dates back to the 1700s. It is a wonderful private space, with private access, where guests can unwind or work in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Set within 3 acres, The Den affords a private patio with a Lazy Susan bistro table and chairs where you can enjoy meals outside. There’s also a dedicated part of the garden for you to enjoy a picnic or BBQ. Inside, the lounge and kitchen area is well equipped with an oven, fridge, sink, induction hob, comfy sofa with Sophie Allport cushions, coffee table, TV, plus a wood burner for cosy nights. Above the lounge/kitchen is a mezzanine level accessed by a ladder. For safety, this is not to be used by guests (and the ladder can be removed if needed), but it does create a sense of height, space and light - plus the original beams are full of charm. The bedroom benefits from a deep carpet, underfloor heating, ample storage space and exposed oak beams. The double bed is made of oak and has a brand new sleepeezee ortho mattress. The room is finished with tasteful scion fox blackout blinds. Off the bedroom is an en-suite shower room. Full of character, the oak beams are exposed and the natural stone floor benefits from underfloor heating. The blinds match those in the bedroom. Baylis and Harding products are provided for your use. Other things to note The Den is located within a 3 acre small holding; in nearby fenced paddocks are a couple of friendly horses. Footpaths perfect for walking, running and mountain biking are on the doorstep with miles of scenic routes.
