Overlooking the beautiful Wilderness nature reserve, Serpentine River and Island Lake an ideal place to relax after enjoying the surrounding areas for which Wilderness has become world famous. The space Red door cottage is a private open plan bright and sunny studio apartment of approx 50 sq meters. Furnished in a traditional country style with carefully chosen antique pieces and original artworks, we offer a comfortable living area, designated work space with uncapped fibre connection and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, full size fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a bathroom with corner shower, WC and wash basin. A covered outdoor patio with spectacular views completes the accommodation . The bedroom alcove boasts a luxury Queen size bed, with heated under blankets for chilly winter nights, and 100% cotton percale luxury bed linen. There is also a room safe and hairdryer for your convenience. A Flat screen TV for streaming favorite shows on Netflix enables you to spend a relaxing night in after a day on the beach, hiking the many mountain trails or shopping at the local craft and food markets and malls. Enjoy a casual supper on your private patio, equipped with gas BBQ whilst overlooking the Wilderness nature reserve and the Hoekwil hills. WE MAKE USE OF SOLAR POWER SO OUR COTTAGE IS NOT EFFECTED BY LOAD SHEDDING The studio apartment is attached to the main house but has a its own entrance, patio and parking bay. The apartment is withing walking distance of the beach We have a small friendly dog named Holly on the property and it is quite possible that you may be visited by her during your stay with us. Guest access Access to the property is via a steep narrow drive way ( note it is not suitable for boats,caravans or trailers ) and the studio apartment has a designated parking bay.
